As mcBSC Platform SW is based on the same DX platform SW as FlexiBSC,


Service Terminal for DX computer units and unix cards (ETME, PCUM) is the
same as in FlexiBSC.

If the IP connection fails you can check the existing configuration via the serial interface

• In practice there are three ways to connect initially to the mcBSC


1. LMP linux > Serial interface via RJ45 interface (local) (A)
2. LMP linux > IP management interface via LAN interface (B)
• local with static interface
• remotely if LMP management interface is integrated to the network
3. MML user interface > External O&M lan interface based on OMU vlan xx10
IP (remote (C)

Once you are inside the mcBSC connected via the LMP linux or the MML O&M
interface you can then use different commands inorder to connect to the individual
interfaces of other modules/units/cards/switches.
