This action research aimed to investigate if the use of “Wh-Interrogatives” Word Table can
help Year 4 pupils to write simple sentences with correct Subject-Verb Agreement (SVA)
noticeable in pupils’ writing tasks. Therefore, it was important to address this issue so that
pupils could master basic sentence writing skills before learning how to expand sentences.
