I believe these rounds were the product of my listening both to the music of

composer Terry Riley, In C for example, and the loop based music of cellist composer

Zoë Keating. Although two players are enough to bring out the character of each round,

six to nine players are best.

Each round is about a minute to a minute and a half. A conductor might be

required the more players there are. Also, I have given very few slurs due to

complications with bowing. Decisions concerning articulation are left to the ensemble,

but legato should be preferred.
