pag-susuri, pagpapakahulugan ng lahat ng nakuhang impormasyon na tumutukoy sa isa o mga aspeto para sa pampulisyang operasyon na kung saan ay agad o maaaring maging mahalaga sa pagpaplano ng kapulisan. Paniniktik o “Surveillance” • Surveillance - Isang sikretong pagmamatyag sa isang lugar, tao, at sasakyan upang makakalap ng impormasyon hinggil sa katauhan o gawain ng isang subject.

• Paniniktik ng Lugar “Surveillance of Place”
– ito ay pagmamatyag sa isang lugar na maaaring pinagkakaganapan ng mga iligal na gawain katulad ng sugal, abortion, prostitusyon, pagbebenta ng iligal na droga at iba pa. Hitsura at Katangian ng isang surveillant o nagsasagawa ng paniniktik • Pangkaraniwang taas at laki ng pangangatawan • Walang “Mannerism” na madaling matandaan ng isang tao • Iwasang magsuot ng alahas o damit na takaw pansin • Masigasig at hindi mainipin • Mapamaraan • Matalino at mabilis mag-isip Pagbuntot “Shadowing or Tailing”
• Ito ay pagsunod sa isang tao upang

Intelligence Cycle – cyclical steps followed from intelligence planning to the dissemination of processed information. It is a repetitive process used to produce intelligence from information.
