Project Contract Packages (CP’s and PO’s):
Analyze the Contract general terms and conditions to highlight areas of risk such as
ambiguities, conflicts or deviations from the scope of work. As work proceeds, make
recommendations to the CPM on the mitigation of these risks, closely monitor and support
remedial actions.
Recognize and identify Contract Claims as they develop and manage/negotiate their
resolution under the Contracts Change provisions wherever possible.

Types of project contract packages.
Fidic Contracts
Cost control works (measuring actual against projected cost, insuring and analyzing any
deviation, issuing the necessary recommendation to redress deviation
Responsibilities:
Preparation of the Project Management Team cost report. This report include all man-hour
costs for management team personnel and all associated procurement, sub-contract and
infrastructure costs and actual construction costs , Full assessment of commitment, value
of work done, invoiced expended and forecast costs to completion. Cash flow estimates and
interim valuations as required.
Following up and updating procurement plan.
Provide close out work and final account.
Estimate and schedule analysis of all Project Change Notices and incorporation into overall
plan.
Studying targeted versus actual performance rates.
Review Monthly Invoices for all sub-contracts.
Internal Auditor for All Projects.
Documenting all the above.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing the pre-construction correspondence and agreements with client, consultant, sub-
contractors, suppliers and all other parties
Reviewing contract’s terms and conditions (general & specific conditions).
Follow up & reviewing all contract & BOQ
Reviewing project’s preliminary schedule.

Reviewing contracts concluded-at the head office with sub-contractors and main suppliers.
Analyzing and approving prices of work variation orders and making the subsequent
necessary claims.
Follow up & reviewing all contractor invoices and invoice quantities.
Follow up & reviewing all submittals and shop drawings status.
Preparing and submit all clients’ claims related to time and cost.
Follow up & reviewing all transmittals and letters.
Follow up & reviewing all RFI s (Requests for Information) , RFA s (Requests For Approval),
NCN, NCR and FCR.
Meeting with contractor and reviewing meeting item.
Preparing final measurement and invoice of the project for the approval of the client and
consultant.
Documenting all the above.
* All these items are controlling and managed with EXPEDITION software program.
Responsibilities:
Planning & scheduling using P3 the all work activities.
Obtain initial subcontractor schedule and prepare monthly/ weekly progress report
Reviewing (PPS) Progress Payment Schedule and compare to construction Schedule &

Claims (time – money) – change orders.
Reviewing contract for every project with its general & special condition.
