Activities Set Induction: Encourage students to name things they see.

Presentation: Introduce the sounds /t/ and /p/.

Practice : Allow students to identify and articulate the sounds


within the words.

Production : Get students to identify pictures of things with


the sounds. Use action to aid pronunciations

Closure : Questions and Answer session about the lesson.

and pies. Introduce the jazz chant.

Practice : Teach them to read aloud the jazz chant followed


by teaching the correct intonation and rhythm.

Production : Whole class recitation.
