Verticals of BQ Global:
Banker’s Quotient has two verticals. With an aim to create the Banking leaders of tomorrow
cemented by strong belief in our two primary cornerstones - Training and Testing
Banker’s Quotient Digital Learning (Bangalore) - e –Learning platform for aspirants preparing to
embark on a Banking career.
History:
Identifying huge gap in the individual and organizational skills in BFSI sector, Mr. M.V. Nair, Mr.
Aditya Nair & Ms. Vidhya Nair with their deep commitment in this sector started Banker’s
Quotient head quartered at Mumbai, where they provide customized learning and testing
solutions, to enable aspiring as well as current bankers, become the BFSI leaders of tomorrow.
They have over 4 years of experience in organizational training across 18 banks. They aid in
rapid skill development and transformation of talent to deliver successful workforce solutions.
In this successful 4 years, they have trained more than 9000 bankers and offered crucial career
skills to new entrants in this space. Also, Banker’s quotient has a tie up with Bharathidasan
University in providing in-house expertise on BFSI sector by offering Post Graduate Diploma in
Banking & Financial Services (PGDBF) with boarding centre at Coimbatore.
Growth:
In the very short time of only for 4 years the company has grown into manifolds. In these
successful 4 years, they have trained more than 9000 bankers and offered crucial career skills to
new entrants in this space. Also, Banker’s quotient has a tie up with Bharathidasan University in
providing in-house expertise on BFSI sector by offering Post Graduate Diploma in Banking &
Financial Services (PGDBF) with boarding centre at Coimbatore. The academy has the capacity to
train 350 candidates on the campus and this can be expanded to 1,000. It has 20 different modules
and the duration of the training varies depending on the requirement of the bank. It trains entry-
level officers and specialists and the training can be on the campus or at the bank.

thousand subscribers of their portal.

Mr M V Nair
A visionary with deep commitment to the Banking and Financial Services industry, Mr. Nair
is currently Chairman, CIBIL and also the Non-Executive Chairman of SWIFT India. He is
also an advisor to multiple PE/VC backed companies in India and the UK. He was at the
helm of organizations such as Union Bank of India, IBA, IIBF etc.
Mr Aditya Nair
Aditya was the COO and Head of Strategy of BQ Academy until 2014. Prior to BQ, Aditya
was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he advised global, public
sector and private sector banks. He is currently pursuing his MBA from Wharton.
Ms Vidhya Nair
Vidhya leads the BQ Digital Learning team with a single minded focus on building products
that solve customers’ need. Vidhya has a good mix of banking, marketing and technical
expertise from prior work experience with Axis Bank and Cisco Systems. She is an alumnus
of Indian School of Business and P.E.S Institute of Technology.

Education, Healthcare and Farming. He has received several Indian and International awards
such as Quimpro Platinum Standard Award presented by National Statesman for Excellence
in Quality of Education.
Mr K R Kamath

A Banking industry veteran with 30+ years of work experience, Mr Kamath has worked in
banks such as Punjab National Bank, Corporation Bank, Bank of India & Allahabad Bank.
He was the former Chairman of PNB, member of Governing Councils of IBPS, NIBM & IIM
Lucknow. He is currently the Chairman of Governing Council of BQ Academy.
Mr Ghanshyam Dass

A veteran banker with 32 years of work experience in domestic, international banking and
capital markets. Mr. Dass is a senior adviser to KPMG, and also an independent director on
the Boards of Jain irrigation Systems Ltd. Jubilant Industries Ltd etc. He has played
significant role in promoting India & indian corporate across the world.

Mr Sreeraj Das
Sreeraj has extensive exposure in the field of IT & Management. Prior to BQ, he was a
Business Manager in real estate start-up Housing.com and Systems Engineer in IT giant,
Infosys. He is a graduate from NIT Calicut and post graduate (MBA) from NMIMS, Mumbai
with specialization in Marketing.
Mr Rakshith Bhagavath
Rakshith’s in depth experience in training students and corporate professionals makes him
very passionate about Learning methodology and Content Development. He has worked
previously with Schneider Electric, First America Insurance and Bosch Group (India). He is a
B.com graduate and an active Toastmaster.
Mr Nishant Verma
Nishant has a strong product & user experience focus. He has 6+ years of combined
experience in Product Management, Management Consulting and Entrepreneurship with
Capgemini, Handsrel and Zelo. He is an Alumnus of Faculty of Management Studies Delhi
(2013) and IIT Kanpur (2007)

BQ uses these frameworks to get a better understanding of the market. BQ use to analyse
competitor’s product and do product and customer research time to time. With the help of
which they use to identify the products short comings and market needs. BQ did not have the
test prep packages in Hindi. Now they are launching packages in Hindi to target the tier 2, tier

5.Has there been any change in the strategy formulation practice and processes during past 5
years- post economic slow down/ globalisation?
The company Bankers Quotient is only four-year-old. Pioneered organizational training across 18
national banks in 2013 and running successfully setting its own benchmark every year since its
inception. There are change in the strategy formulation practice and processes during past 5 years
but since the inception of the company has happened during the year 2013 so it will be unfair to say
the reasons are post economic slowdown.
6.What are the some of the Strategic decisions taken by the company during last 3-5 years and
what has been the impact after its implementation?
Organisation has extended its business two years back from the banking professional training to the
bank exam preparation and name the extended hand Bankers quotient digital learning. Banker's
Quotient Digital Learning is an online learning and testing solutions provider that provides financial
services professionals and aspirants an interactive and immersive learning experience. Within a very
shorter period they have reached ten thousand subscribers of their portal.
7.How much they are interested and investing in innovation, are there visible outcomes from
those initiatives in innovation
They are very much interested and investing in innovation. The company itself work in the field of
EdTech industry which is totally innovation oriented. Bankers quotient digital learning uses the best
of the methods available in the EdTech industry to teach its students. They have the best analytics
for student assessment and best resources to prepare content for students.
They are about to come up with their next product which is pen-drive and tab packages targeting the
need of a different set of bank enthusiast and trying to reach out to new markets. BQ has invested
heavily on their innovative products.
8. Are there recent cases of M & A , Strategic Alliances, New Market entry if any. Get details on
those.
