• 39 per cent jobs are for 10th pass and 37 per cent are for 12th pass – clearly indicating that employers
increasingly seek basic educational qualification even for blue collar jobs. For instance, while good
driving skills along with a valid license is a mandate to become a driver in any of the cab services, being a
10th or 12th pass give drivers a sharper edge over others since they can communicate better to the
customers.

• As per the job seekers, about 49 per cent were 12th pass, followed by 23 per cent 10th pass and there has
been a fall in the job seekers among graduate and PG & above degree holders.

• Data clearly indicates that there is a huge demand-supply gap as far as 10th pass and diploma degree
holders are concerned.

ABOUT
QuikrJobs

QuikrJobs is India's No. 1 online hiring platform for blue collar and entry level white
collar hiring. We have more than 70 lakh active candidates, who have applied for a job at least
once in the last 6 months.

QuikrJobs helps clients hire across hundreds of roles. In the blue collar segment, some of our
top roles are delivery boys, drivers, mechanics, welders, fitters, nanny, waiters & many more. In
entry level white collar jobs, we help clients hire across BPO, sales, accountants, HR/Admin etc.

A key advantage QuikrJobs offers to prospective clients is its unique and large reach to job
seekers who are not active internet users through its ‘Missed Call’ service which allows job
seekers to both create a profile and apply to jobs without coming online or spending a dime.
The entire service is offered to them using missed calls.

Quikrjobs is also unique in customising job seeker profiles basis the role they are applying to.
This makes hiring more efficient for clients since they only have to scan through role-
relevant information when making hiring decisions. E.g for a cook, a client may be interested in
understanding whether she can cook Indian or contiental. Similarly, for a delivery boy, it helps
to know if he has a two wheeler and a driving license.

QuirkJobs gets 50% of its traffic from towns beyond the top metros. This is a great benefit
for companies which have offices / workplaces / retail stores / factories in rest of India.
