OPPOSITION TO PETITION FOR COMMISSION

AS NOTARY PUBLIC

Oppositor, JED SALVIO PARACHA, by the undersigned

attorney, and unto this Honorable Court, respectfully states:

1. That he is an Agent of the NATIONAL BUREAU OF

INVESTIATION of Davao City;

2. That Atty. Lenicia Sodevilla is on the watch list of said

government agency;

3. That Atty. Lenicia Soldevilla has a pending case in Branch

20 of Davao Regional Trial Court for Violation of
Dangerous Drugs Act of 1972 (Drug-pushing); Criminal
conspiracy to smuggle opium;

4. That the crime of Criminal Conspiracy to smuggle opium is

a crime involving moral turpitude;
 5. That having been charged of a crime involving moral
turpitude, Atty. Lenicia Soldevilla is disqualified to
become a notary public under Section 2, Rule 138 of the
Rules of Court.

WHEREFORE, the oppositor prays that the Petition for

Commission as Notary Public of Atty. Lenicia Soldevilla be
dismissed.
