I initially signed up for AMWAY™ to support
my best friend. However, when I noticed that
my three children’s health had significantly
improved after taking NUTRILITE™
supplements, my perception changed.
In the beginning, my husband strongly
disapproved of me getting involved in the
business. But I persevered and showed him
the benefits that I got from a supportive team,
a conducive environment, as well as a group
of compassionate leaders. He finally realised
that AMWAY is a business that offers security
for our future.

AMWAY Leadership Seminar for the first time
in 2012. This year, we are going to travel in

Since the day I first became an employee,
I knew that I did not want to spend my life
working for someone else. I realised that I
needed to start my own business in order to
live a better life. So I started to look around for
business opportunities and I eventually signed
up in July 2013.
When we started the business, I was working
as a medical sales representative and Khai
Ling was an engineer. Even after we qualified
Emerald, we were running the business on
a part-time basis. This is the beauty of the

the business on our own free time, and the

EMERALD/SAPPHIRE
Born to an impoverished family, I grew up
wanting to change my life for the better.
Therefore, I started working part-time during
my college years. I signed up for AMWAY to
support my best friend. I didn’t put too much
time and effort into it as I was still in college
then.
After graduating, I was hired by a bank and
was promoted to the position of Assistant
Manager shortly after. I thought I had a
bright future until I was dismissed by the
company after making just one mistake
at work. Realising that there is no security
when working for others, I started to focus
more on my AMWAY business and managed
to earn a considerable side income. As our
income grew, we were given the opportunity
to travel in style as we continue to seek self-
development in this wonderful business.
If you spend 10 years working for others or

age of 18. After learning about the potential of
the business, I realised that one can actually
start building his or her AMWAY business
anytime. So, I poured my effort into the

My best advice for building a successful
AMWAY career is to participate in the various
training sessions and meetings. The bonus
you earn from AMWAY is significant, but the
best part is being able to bring hope and
opportunity to everybody around you through
this business. I count my blessings for being
able to grab this opportunity and go through
the wonderful experience as a young business
owner at the age of 18 when my senior first
introduced it to me.

When I was 18 years old, I signed up to
support my friend’s elder brother. I soon saw
the real potential of the AMWAY business and
discovered my life’s purpose after attending a
couple of meetings. Life is about the choices
and decisions we make. I choose to give
