Queridos aliados:
El W10 ha comenzado. Puede que para algunos sea un
servidor más, otros quizás estarán transitando su primer
servidor en busca de aventuras nuevas, otros tantos
buscando su primera corona dorada.
Sea cual fuere la situación de cada uno de nosotros, hemos
elegido UNIDOS para afrontar el w10.
Para quienes aún no conocen UNIDOS, acá va una pequeña
reseña:
UNIDOS ha sido conformada inicialmente por jugadores
hispanoparlantes de toda América Latina y España. Muchos
de esos jugadores migraron de la antigua plataforma LOU
(Lord of Ultima) no sin antes probar el dulce néctar de las
victorias en reiteradas ocasiones. Pero a medida que fueron
avanzando los servidores hemos ido nutriendo nuestras
tropas de jugadores de diversas nacionalidades hasta
convertirnos en una alianza multilingüe.
Nuestra característica principal como alianza es la
“astucia”: intentando comprender las particularidades de
cada servidor y nuestra situación en el mismo para actuar
en consecuencia. A veces se requiere tejer un entramado
de coaliciones, sometiendo así a enemigos más fuertes sin
dales batalla; otras veces crecemos abasteciéndonos con
nuestras tropas de los recursos de nuestros enemigos.
De a poco iremos tomando conciencia de este servidor para
así direccionar nuestras acciones en pos de la corona tan
deseada. Pero hay algo que deben saber aquellos que se
encuentran por vez primera en esta alianza: aquí es
importante el objetivo, pero también es importante cómo
logramos dicho objetivo. Esto requiere de cada uno respeto
por el otro, trabajo conjunto hacia la misma meta y
acatamiento de las normas y directrices establecidas. Todas
las opiniones serán escuchadas y tenidas en cuenta, pero
no actuaremos en cada decisión democráticamente. Puesto
que hay medidas que requieren prontitud y, en algunos
casos reserva.
A su debido momento elegirán quien tome las riendas de
este servidor y depositarán su confianza en ese jugador.
Esto implica apoyarlo tanto en sus aciertos como en sus
yerros. Ganamos o perdemos todos juntos.
Hagamos del W10 un servidor donde disfrutemos más de lo
que nos disgustamos. Seamos pacientes y fraternos con los
que están aprendiendo. Y quienes se inician dejen que la
experiencia los guie. Sepamos todos que siempre hay algo
nuevo para aprender y que ninguna victoria se disfruta en
soledad.

The W10 has begun. For some it may be another server,
others may be traveling their first server in search of new
adventures, others could be looking for their first golden
crown.
Whatever the situation of each one of us, we have chosen
UNIDOS to face the w10.
For those who still do not know UNIDOS, here is a small
review:
UNIDOS has been initially formed by Spanish-speaking
players from throughout Latin America and Spain. Many of
those players migrated from the old platform LOU (Lord of
Ultima) not without first tasting the sweet nectar of
victories on repeated occasions. But as the servers
progressed, we have been nurturing our troops of players
of different nationalities to become a multilingual alliance.
Our main characteristic as an alliance is the "cunning":
trying to understand the particularities of each server and
our situation in it to act accordingly. Sometimes it is
required to weave a network of coalitions, thus subjecting
stronger enemies without battle; other times we grow by
supplying our troops with the resources of our enemies.
Little by little we will become aware of this server to direct
our actions in pursuit of the so desired crown. But there is
something that those who meet for the first time in this
alliance must know: the goal is important here, but it is also
important how we achieve that goal. This requires respect
for each other, joint work towards the same goal and
compliance with established norms and guidelines. All
opinions will be heard and taken into account, but we will
not act on each decision democratically. Since there are
measures that require quick responses and, in some cases,
reserve.
In due course they will choose who takes the reins of this
server and will place their trust in that player. This implies
supporting him both in his successes and in his mistakes.
We win or lose all together.
Let's make the W10 a server where we enjoy more than we
dislike. Let's be patient and fraternal with those who are
learning. And those who start let the experience guide
them. Let us all know that there is always something new to
learn and that no victory is enjoyed in solitude.
