They are a happy family: a mother, a father and a daughter.

Father is called John; he has got brown hair, green eyes and a
big nose. He smiles a lot. Mother is called Mary; she has long
blond hair, blue eyes and a
beautiful smile. When the
girl was a baby, her mamma
felt ill and died. Soon the little girl's papa marries
another woman. She is fat and angry. She has
got two lazy daughters: Anastasia and Drizella.
Anastasia is tall and thin. She has got long black
hair just like her mother. Drisella is short and fat.
She has red hair. They like to eat, to try on
beautiful dresses and to look in the mirror all day
long. They make the poor girl live in the kitchen
and work hard. She cleans, and cooks, and
sweeps the cinders. That’s why the stepsisters
call her “Cinderella”. Cinderella is not very tall.
She has got blond hair and big blue eyes.

Tonight there is a ball at the palace. The young Prince celebrates his birthday. He is
tall and handsome. He has got long brown hair and brown eyes.

The two ugly sisters can talk only about the ball. “Do you like to go to the ball,
Cinderella?” ask the sisters. “Oh, yes I do. But how can I go? I have not got a
dress”. So, the angry stepmother and her daughters go to the palace and Cinderella
stays at home.

Cinderella sits in the dark kitchen and cries.

Suddenly the Fairy appears in front of her. She
is tall and has got grey hair and beautiful face.
This is Cinderella’s godmother.

“My dear Cinderella,” says the Fairy. “You are a

kind and beautiful girl. You must go to the ball!”
The Fairy touches Cinderella with the magic
wand, and the girl’s poor clothes turn into a
golden dress and new glass slippers.

“Now you are ready to go to the ball, but

remember, you must come back before
midnight” says the Fairy.
 Look! Cinderella is in the palace. The Prince’s parents
the King and the Queen are happy to see their new
guest. The Prince sees Cinderella and falls in love with
her. “Welcome, beautiful princess! Would you like to
dance with me?” With pleasure, my Prince,” says
Cinderella.

The two stepsisters are

angry because the
beautiful princess
dances with the Prince
all the night.

Cinderella likes the

merry and clever Prince.

Suddenly the clock strikes twelve. Cinderella runs out

of the palace. She loses her glass slipper in a hurry.

On the next day The Prince starts to look for the

beautiful princess. He goes around the kingdom and
asks all the girls to try the slipper on. The Prince comes to Cinderella’s house. The
two ugly sisters are ready to try on the little slipper. But their feet are too big. Their
mother calls Cinderella to help them.

The Prince sees her and asks to try the

slipper on. It fits perfectly!

“You are my princess!” cries the Prince.

“Will you marry me?”

“Yes, my Prince,” answers the happy girl.

The Prince and Cinderella are very happy.

They have got a wedding party soon.
