Profile
I am a autodidact. Possessing a versatile skill set with experience in customer service, sales,
and written and oral communication through my career in teaching. Received a certificate
from the Corp. of National, and Community service for my service to HS students in Pitts-
burgh. Recognized skills in mentoring, and mediating between employees, and in leading
team projects. I am capable of meeting productivity, accuracy and safety work standards in
any environment. I am committed to whatever the task is and will serve in whatever capaci-
ty the job requires.
Experience
HIGH SCHOOL MEDIA AND FINANCIAL LITERACY, AND HEALTH TEACHER, THE NEIGHBORHOOD ACAD-
EMY; PITTSBURGH, PA — 2012-PRESENT
• The Neighborhood Academy is a wholistic, extended day, college preparatory school
located in the Stanton Heights neighborhood in the city of Pittsburgh. Students are
provided with all meals and transportation, as well as a twelve hour day, during which
students are required to participate in an art or athletic activity, as well as evening
study. Evening study provides time for students to finish their homework as well as get
help from faculty.
• Advisor to a group of eighth (8th) and ninth (9th) grade students. This includes com-
munication with them and their parents/guardians, keeping track academically, advo-
cating for them, mediating with other teachers, as well as being a source of emotional
support and encouragement.
• Evening study proctor: oversee and manage a class of students during evening study
by helping with homework and keeping students on task in order to succeed at The
Neighborhood Academy.
• Coached Track and Field (until 2016) and Golf since 2012.
• For five weeks, we have an introductory study skills session at The Neighborhood
Academy, and for the fourth and fifth weeks, we attend college tours on a trip through
the Tri-state area.
• Guiding students through Admissions Process by preparing them for the rigors of
study at The Neighborhood Academy (teaching: reading comprehension, time-man-
agement,, registration)
• Hosted an event: The Neighborhood Academy Health Fair, brought in many different
health care providers from local PCP’s to Physical Therapist, College programs, and
Local Clinical care provider (Mental and Physical wellbeing).
• Keeping student files up to date and helped organize other community service events
EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT PROFESSIONALS, HOST SITE: LIBERTY USA; WEST MIFFLIN, PA — 2010-2011
• Completed selection orders by selecting products from the warehouse racks and to
assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders. Accuracy
of orders picked were near 100%, rates were near the top of all full-time employees.
• Accountable for meeting productivity, accuracy and safety work standards in average
temperatures of -16 to -18 degrees. Required to use a variety of powered industrial
equipment.

Skills
Creative thinking, leadership, curriculum design and mapping, time management, class-
room management, organization, utilizing and incorporating technology appropriately,
proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Apps for Education, creating individualized
learning pathways. Warehouse experience, distribution or retail experience. Experience
operating power industrial equipment, such as an electric pallet jack and high-extender
high lift.
