Icebreaker / Ysbreker.

2) Works / Werke: (10 Minutes/Minute)

This must be concluded before discussion / facilitation of the Word:
Hierdie moet afgehandel word voor die bespreking / fasilitering van die Woord:

Discuss the vision & evangelism plan

Discuss / Bespreek:
Discuss among the cell, a potential outreach you as a cell could do for this term.
3) Praise and worship / Lofprysing en aanbidding (20 Minutes/Minute)

4) The Word of God / Die Woord van God (40 Minutes/Minute)

2 Corinthians 9:2 I know you want to help. I have been bragging about this to the people in
Macedonia, telling them that you in Southern Greece have been ready to give since last year.
And your desire to give has made most of them ready to give also. (NCV)
2 Corinthians 9:3–5 3 But I am sending these brothers to be sure you really are ready, as I have
been telling them, and that your money is all collected. I don’t want to be wrong in my boasting
about you. 4 We would be embarrassed - not to mention your own embarrassment - if some
Macedonian believers came with me and found that you weren’t ready after all I had told them! 5
So I thought I should send these brothers ahead of me to make sure the gift you promised is
ready. But I want it to be a willing gift, not one given grudgingly. (NLT)
2 Corinthians 9:6–8 6 Remember this - a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small
crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in
your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God
loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you
will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. (NLT)
Exodus 35:20–22a 20 So the whole community of Israel left Moses and returned to their tents. 21
All whose hearts were stirred and whose spirits were moved came and brought their sacred
offerings to the Lord. They brought all the materials needed for the Tabernacle, for the
performance of its rituals, and for the sacred garments. 22 Both men and women came, all
whose hearts were willing. They brought to the Lord their offerings of gold ... (NLT)
2 Corinthians 9:10-12 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also
supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You
will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us
your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only
supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to
God. (NIV)
2 Corinthians 9:13–15 13 As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your
generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of
Christ. 14 And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God
has given to you. 15 Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words! (NLT)

Question 1 / Vraag 1:
What are the 5 secrets to joyful giving?
Cell Leader's key / Sell Leier se sleutel
Facilitate: Open discussion / Fasiliteer: Ope bespreking.
1. Give enthusiastically - Find the motivation! The giving of R1000 000,00 by Little Falls
Christian Centre to our ‘Building Fund’, under the guidance and leadership of Pastor Harold
and Maud Weitsz, should help us to find the motivation and to also give enthusiastically!
2. Give preparedly - Find the means! Let us come ‘prepared’ by finding whatever means,
that we too may be able to contribute. It might be the sacrifice of a McDonalds burger once
a month. Maybe a garage sale.
3. Give willingly - Find the motive! Giving willingly and cheerfully, always causes God’s love
to abound, with great generosity in every area of our lives – this is the key to having extra
and enough to be a blessing to others!! Being able to be a blessing to others should be a
great motivational dynamic!
4. Give expectantly - Find the magnitude! 2 Corinthians 9:10-12 Now he who supplies
seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed
and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every
way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity
will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying
the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to
God. (NIV)
5. Give obediently - Find the maturity! 2 Corinthians 9:13 As a result of your ministry,
they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove
that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. (NIV)
