9. Inspect handtool before use for :

- Crack handles
- Broken handles
- Crack housing
- Mushroom head on punches,
chisels and hammers
- Damage electrical cords and
pneumatic pipes
- Oil leak in hydraulic equipment
- Worn tools
- Use the corrrect tools for the
correct size & nuts/bolts
- Always work away from body
- Do not use screwdriver or knife
while it is being help in hand
- Using knife always cut away from
hand/body
- Close/protect all sharp poits after
use
- Do not tran any tools around hard
it over proper manuver
- Hang/place tools back onto
toolbox after use
