I conducted an interview with my grandfather, Angelo Mongillo. In the interview, he

explains his childhood and the living conditions where he lived. He explained living in

Nazi occupied land and the conditions in southern Italy after and during the war. He also

explained the reason people began to move from his city and where they moved to. His

story is acceptable to use as a primary source because he explains conditions that he

experienced first-hand.
