MARHOOM AMIRALI KARIM IS NO MORE WITH US.

AND GRATTITUDE”
I first knew him during 1980’S when he came to Bukoba as the Governor of Golden
Creasent Group in Tanzania. Marhoom Amerali Karim was totally committed and
100% dedicated to Lady Fathema Trust so much so that “HE IS NOW A LEAGEND.”

HE WAS A PERFETIONIST.
He supported the Jaipur limb programe and Alhamdulillah with the grace of Allah
L.F.T gave 850 limbs to amputees. He was curious as to how you fit a plastic P.V.C
pipe limb on the human body and Izaas organized to show him how it is done in
Nairobi

Mazahir Lalji from Dodoma, Marhoom Altaf Fazal in Dar-es-salaam, Hamed Sharrif in
Arusha, Karimchacha in Singida, Sibtain from desk and chair foundation
Mwanza,Father David Didace from Biharamulo Parokia and Hilda Mwarabu from
Chato welfare office. Combined together to identify, organize transport and send
amputees to Nairobi to be fitted with Jaipur limbs and back to their Village.
In August 1997 Rotarian Kundan Doshi from Nairobi called and said ”Our Rotary Club
has crossed 5000 limbs in Kenya and we like to give limbs in Tanzania Can you please
organize” Rotarian P.D.G. Tom Setter from Idaho falls collected funds for 300 limbs
and soon these limbs were made and Izaas started the joint venture with Lady
Fatema Trust. Mashallah.

Karimbhai was convinced that if you give these amputees limb we would change their
lives completely by giving them new confidence and dignity and he gave green light
to Izaas to go ahead and do our best.
Together with the limbs program L.F.T started supporting the cleft lip and Goiter
surgeries that Izaas was doing.
Marhoom Karimbhai is no more with us but 850 amputees with one or both of the
limbs made of plastic is a walking proof of his work and the echo of their steps will
bear witness that marhom changed their lives drastically and gave them a new
identity, dignity and new confidence. Mashallah

behalf of the Hospital and doctors that participated with marhoom Izaas
takes this honor to offer our condolences to marhooms family and the
Lady Fatma Trust for their loss. And pray Allah to give marhoom an
