Reading: students continue to build their
reading and writing skills as well as their
understanding of how new or improved
technologies are developed to meet the needs
of society, through a case study of Philo
Farnsworth, the inventor of television.
Math: This week in math we will continue
Module 3. In this module students'
understanding of addition and subtraction of
fractions extends from earlier work with fraction
equivalence and decimals. Please encourage
your child to persevere when they come upon a
problem that is difficult at first. As always, we
are continuing to work on writing about math
and thoroughly explaining our steps when
solving.
Science/Social Studies:
