Emma Koenig is a senior nursing student at James Madison University expected to graduate in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in Chronic Illness. She has a 3.5 GPA and has completed over 600 clinical hours in a variety of medical settings. Upon graduation, she will have experience in pediatrics, community health, medical-surgical nursing, psychiatric nursing, women's health, and neurology nursing. Currently, she works as a Patient Care Technician at UVA Medical Center and has previously worked as a Home Health Aide. She has also volunteered in an emergency department and is involved on campus through her sorority and the Nursing Student Association.
