● Customized and reenacted mock patient cases for educational purposes for over 30 students to incorporate skills learned
during classroom hours.
● Participated in events that encouraged students to break out of their shells. For example we practiced the principle of
commitment by doing the Soul Train dance. Everyone had to dance, even the instructors.
● Facilitated social events through encouraging dance battles, became the DJ and took song requests, and even danced with the
students to create a better teacher and student relationship.

Research Experience 
Digital Literacy Partnership Nov 2016-Dec 2016
Assisted in a research conducted by Dr. Ubbes at Miami University, that promoted child oral health. Education is a primary prevention
technique; she has created a website that spreads awareness on oral health. Each group of students read and critiqued articles written
on topics that pertained to oral health. My group focused on handwashing articles. Four articles were chosen for each topic to be
published as a potential E-book.
A Mixed-method Study of Parents’ Lived Experiences in Raising Children with Primary Lymphedema Jan 2017-present
Seven students assist Dr.Elise Radina on her research of the family impact of a child suffering from primary lymphedema. Our roles
in the group include: transcribing patient interviews, summarizing results,editing, research,etc.
Volunteer Service​: 
Equitas Health-Safe Point Syringe Program May 2017-present
● Recommended clients for primary/secondary prevention resources. (Testing, AOD Counselor, Pharmacy).
● Collected safety and biohazard supplies for over 80 clients weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
● Informed and suggested rehabilitation services for drug/alcohol addicts at each appointment.
Vida Eterna Iglesia Luterana(VEIL) Jan 2017-present
● Mentored students from grades 2nd -8th grade in the latino community while addressing issues that affect the latino/hispanic
community.
● Twenty-five students and mentors were immersed in spanish and english every Sunday afternoon.
