Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Communication Studies requirements
 Submit a portfolio consisting of samples of literary/artistic work.
 Submit one qualifying essay (in English for the English Track; in Arabic for the Arabic Track).
 Sit for a qualifying interview conducted by a member of the Admissions Committee.
Engineering Requirements
 Computer exam (150 Dhs.)
 SAT Reasoning Test - (original required for verification). Engineering applicants: minimum score of 320 in Critical
Reading and a minimum 560 in Math. The sum of the Critical Reading and Math must be at least 1000. AUD international

Important Notes
Health Form should be filled out and returned to the Admissions or Health Department along with your Insurance Card if available.
Exam dates are available at the Admissions Office and on our web-site.
Students should be aware that all records, letters and other documents provided in the original to AUD as part of the admissions process will
remain university property. The university reserves the right to evaluate the adequacy of all credentials submitted for admissions.
Applicants from schools in the UAE who seek UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research attestation of their university degrees
should consult the Ministry for the requirements of high school attestation/equivalency prior to commencing their studies at AUD.
Students who are not granted admissions to AUD or cancelled their application should collect their documents within two (2) years; otherwise,
their physical records will be destroyed.

Payment Details
An application fee of 200 Dhs. must be sent along with the completed Application Form. A reservation deposit (non-
refundable) of 5,000 Dhs. which is fully applied toward tuition is required within two (2) months of the start of the term of entry
to enable us to process your application. To book for the English and/or Math placement exam at AUD, an exam fee of 300
Dhs. is required. To reserve a room in the dorms, a deposit of 2,500 Dhs. is required. This can be paid in cash, by check made
payable to AUD, or by using the credit card form below.
