Notes: 1. The air travel be allowed for better time management without loss of working hour.
2. In no circumstances actual bill payable to be more than entitled tour bill
3. Travelling bill have to submit with TA/DA bill as evidence.

5. This TA/DA rule is not valid for any tour from his duty station to 60 KM radius of our Factory/Head office
premises and 100 KM radius, if has been allowed motor bike/vehicle and also not allowed to visit at HIP by

NOTES ON TA/DA POLICY
A. Accommodation:
Employees, who travel at night, will be entitled accommodation provided, his:

1 Departure time will be before 1 AM &


2 Arrival time will be after 1 AM (without any abrupt situation)
a) subject to he has to attend at duty by next immediate working hour.
b) If next day is holiday, No accommodation is allowed for night journey.

Accommodation bills are not allowed, where PRAN-RFL Group maintains accommodation facility
(If not occupied):
1 In our Country (Within 60 KM Radius):
i) Natore vi) Cox's Bazar
ii) Rangpur vii) Sylhet
iii) Chittagong viii) Barishal
iv) Ishardi ix) Any area where own guest house available.
v) Hobiganj

2 Outside Country:
i) India vi) Qatar
ii) UAE vii) Nepal
iii) Malaysia viii) Africa
iv) Agartala ix) Any other country where own guest house available.
v) Oman
vi) KSA

B. Conveyance during travelling


Rate of conveyance will be claimed in multiple of 6 hrs. For every 6 hrs. his/her entitled local conveyance
will be 25% of total entitlement for the day for conveyance. No other conveyance is allowed. 20 KM distance
coverage will be treated as conveyance. Above 20 KM will be treated as Travelling.

C. Food
Food entitlement of the employees, will depend upon their departure time from the duty area at the following
rates & time:

On the other hand, food entitlement of the employees , who arrived his duty area at the following rates and

D. Official Transport

If official transport is used by an employee during his tour, he will not be entitled to local conveyance. In case
of other transports, travel ticket must be enclosed with TA/DA bills.

E. TA/DA rate for Dhaka/Chittagong/Sleet/Cox's Bazar

If an employee travels to Dhaka/Chittagong/Sylhet- (Metropolitan area)/Cox's Bazar(Town) he will get 20%


extra over and above his normal TA/DA entitlement.

F. Discretionary Power of Dept/BU Heads/Controlling Officer

At any time depending on the nature of the assignment the Head of the Dept/ BU/ Controlling Officer may
set aside applicability of these TA/DA rules in the interest of the Company.

These rules will apply only if the period of duty away from the H/O (place of posting) does not exceed
10(ten) days. In the event of out station duty exceeding unbroken 10 days the head of dept/ BU/ Controlling
officer will lay down special reduced rates entitlements to be availed of .

G. Bill Checking & Payment

TA/DA bills of individuals will be prepared by themselves. Head of the Dept/ BU/ Controlling Officer will
examine & approve their bills. Thereafter concerned accounts head will also scrutinize & finally authorize the
bills for payment.

H. Salary

Salary of an employee means his Gross salary without fixed allowances like Special Conveyance allowance,
Special allowance & Overtime.

I. Dis-allowances:

No TA/DA facility is allowed :

a) to visit from Head Office to PFG/PIP/RIP/AEPZ/RRF/HIP/DIP/within equivalent distance & vice versa.
Every body has to use official transport. In case of non-availability, Dept/BU Heads can approve transport
expense, Toll etc in actual.

b) if he is allowed fixed TA/DA allowance as per his nature of job.

J. Earlier Instructions/Orders

Instructions/ orders issued earlier regarding TA/DA Rules of PRAN-RFL Group employees will be treated
canceled

Day to day local conveyance Other than Travelling:

1 Radius within 3(Three) KM : Rickshaw, if not possible- other transport(as under)


2 Radius above 3(Three) KM :

a. Office Asstt & Equivalent Bus then Rickshaw (if Needed)


b. MT/JEx/SAM/AM & Equivalent Bus then Rickshaw (if Needed)
c. M/SM/AGM & Equivalent Bus(A/C) / If not Available Auto Rickshaw/Cab(Non-AC)
d. DGM/GM/Chief/COO & Above Cab/Co's vehicle/ any transport as above

** Payment to be made as per actual expense. Dept/BU Head can approve higher ceiling(case to case
basis) for the interest of Group.
** Those who will carry sensitive documents/cash/goods/emergency matters can use suitable transport with
prior approval of Dept/BU Heads.

c) Food Allowance for Lunch/Dinner will be Tk 130/- per meal & for Breakfast it will be 50% of
Lunch/Dinner. It will be only allowed where we have no arrangement of breakfast/Lunch/Dinner.
