Impact of using ICT in My classroom teaching

With changing times, there have been radical changes in the

teaching-learning processes. The roles of both the ‘teachers and
students’ have been advancing with upcoming ICT methods and
techniques. The teacher has become more of a facilitator than
just a dispenser of information. With the electronic gadgets like
Mobiles, Tablets, etc for example, students are no longer confined
to a physical space like conventional or labs. They can work on it
practically at any location from a regular classroom to any public
place also. Education technology can bridge the gap between
classroom and home learning. This has been very difficult
because it requires technologies like internet, software devices;
tools should be available for teachers and students. Otherwise the
whole concept of ICT is in vain. Moreover ICT can be used very
efficiently and effectively with proper training and exposure to all
stakeholders to the aids like moodle, wordpress etc. and
necessary care taken for the right dissemination of the
knowledge.

Evidence of Actual usage

Resource Creation Assignment 1 (RCA-1) – Under this I have

created a web site using Wordpress and added a page for this
FDP as per the directions given. Link of the journal provided in

Resource Creation Assignment 1 (RCA-2) – Under this I have

created a moodle page and my video created and the quiz as per

Thus, at the end of FDP101X, I feel that use of ICT tools has
enhanced teaching and learning process.
