Requirements

 3+ years of experience with designing consumer products, with a design role for iOS
and Android apps, and a strong portfolio of past projects/work.
 Obsessed with great user-centered design practices and has an exceptional eye for
detail.
 Deep knowledge of modern mobile UI/UX patterns, especially iOS Human Interface
Guidelines and Android Material Design.
 Deep experience in creating and revising interaction design artifacts including: high
level conceptual work, diagrams and flows, detailed wireframes with annotations,
experience maps, modernizing the UX patterns.
 Expert in Sketch, Omnigraffle, or equivalent design tools and prototyping tools such
as Balsamiq, FluidUI, Finto, InVision.
 A solid understanding of Responsive Design methodologies, and iOS and Android
mobile platform design.
 Natural tendency to seek and explore design and technology trends for interactive
experiences.
 Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter; applicant must be able to push ahead with
design projects and drive progress with little oversight.
 Ability to translate UX into final polished UI Design.
 Ability to work in a start-up, ability to thrive in a fast paced, agile development
process.
 Bachelor’s Degree in Interactive Design or equivalent experience in human-computer
interaction or related field.

As a UX Designer in Oracle’s Sales Consulting Centre, you will be part of a wider team that remotely
supports sales organizations across EMEA & APAC. You will responsible for creating innovative and
interactive mobile applications prototypes that reflect the capabilities of Oracle mobile solutions for
different clients. You will have the opportunity to sharpen your creative-problem-solving skills while
also developing communication and presentation abilities.

What you will do:

• Apply Human Centric Design principles and techniques in the process of prototyping demos for
strategic applications on mobile devices.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly understand the core business needs, make the right compromises
and prioritize content and data, based on user needs and the inherit limitations on mobile devices from
a real estate perspective.
• Have a holistic approach to the information architecture and data hierarchy.
• Make interactions with digital products seamless to users, by having a good understanding of human
cognitive constraints in HCI (Human Computer Interaction).
• Be at the forefront of a new Design Initiative whose mission is to make the Design Thinking approach
pervasive throughout the whole organization and educate people both internally and externally with
regards to its advantages.
• Help the Design department enrich its repository of reusable assets and know-how.
• Present your design solutions to senior members of the team and various internal stakeholders from
the sales department, whilst articulating key decisions and highlighting the various user flows.

Experience/Skills required:

• 4 years of User Experience Design with an emphasis on mobile web applications

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to understand, analyze and prioritize input data from briefing meetings by actively listening,
analyzing requirements and asking the right questions
• The candidate needs to show initiative, confidence and have great communication skills
• Building storyboards and user interaction journeys
• Define user personas, scenarios and use cases
• Ability to use their initiative and work from often loose and incomplete briefs
• Deep understanding of design trends and best practices on mobile devices
• Experience and understanding of the Agile/Scrum process
• Research and communicate latest trends within industry
• Build and articulate Conceptual Designs.
• Demonstrate cultural intelligence – sensible to how different cultures and groups of people interact
with imagery, colors, etc.
• Art direction
• Strong conceptual and visual communication abilities

Technical Skills:
• In-depth understanding of the relevant design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD
• Photographic and Image creation and manipulation
• Experience of Interactive prototyping tools like Marvell App, Invision, Protoshare,
• Design for Mobile Devices
• Responsive Design Techniques.
• Knowledgeable of technical constraints and possibilities from a Front End Development perspective.
(eg: what is possible, what is hard to do, what are the different frameworks used)
• Create Graphics (Icons, buttons, banners)
• Photography

Optional Skills:
• UI Development experience with CSS3, HTML5, Javascript (e.g JQuery, JQuery Mobile,
ExtJS, Moo Tools, Prototype.js, AJAX etc)
• Create HTML5/CSS3/JS Templates
