The dentist ani and ria were discussing about dental practices which potentially could be
harmful waste to environmental health. According to dentist ani the dangerous wastes
included infectious waste and chemical waste. Apart from the two types of waste, the
materials and the medicines that have used in the dentist in practice a can also interfere with
the environment, such as, masks, gloves, heating device, pulp’s medicine and halogen light
and laser. Dentist ria said as a trigger for disease transmission is a problem related to
occupational safety and health. Government as the regulator make regulations about waste
processing correctly and effectively and filled sanitary requirements.

 worker failure (people behaviour, lack experience, not wearing apd, careless, tired
dentist, not consent because have a life problem), instrument failure (low
electricity, handpiece not work properly), material failure (expired)

- Differentiate between infectious waste and non infectious waste
- Infectious usually in dental practice such as syringe and material it been put on
yellow box or plastic, then throw it into waste maintenance or it can be kubur.
