INTRODUCTION
The physical factors such as temperature of air and soil, pH of soil, relative humidity, soil
moisture and texture, and others make up the abiotic component of an ecosystem. They provide
the conditions necessary for the survival of organisms. The physical factors also affect and
influence one another. The temperature, for example, affects soil moisture which, in turn, affects
soil temperature.
