This manual describes how to use the product shown below.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND THE PRODUCT LABELS CAN RESULT
IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO YOUR CHILD. DO NOT let others assemble or use the
rocker base and associated Orbit Baby products unless they understand how to properly use
them. Keep this instruction manual for future use. Do not use the rocker base if any parts are
damaged, broken or missing. Use only replacement parts supplied and approved by Orbit
Baby. If the instruction manual is missing or you need replacement parts or assistance, see
the contact information included with this product.

◦ Adult assembly of the rocker base is required before use. Always make sure that the rocker
tubes are securely installed into the SmartHub.
◦ Use only Orbit Baby tested and approved products with the rocker base.
◦ Maximum child weight is 50 lbs (23 kg).
PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
◦ NEVER leave your child unattended.
◦ Always provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of your child.
◦ This product is not intended for prolonged periods of sleeping.
◦ Do not use with more than one infant at a time.

FALL HAZARD: Avoid serious injury from falls or sliding out.
◦ Restraint harness use is required for all use modes when harness is present on the product.
Always secure your child to avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use both
the shoulder and lap portions of the harness.
◦ The rocker base can tip. A child’s movement can slide or move the rocker base. Use only
on the floor. Never place the rocker base on any elevated surface. Always stay within arm’s
reach whenever your child is on the rocker base.
◦ Listen for audible CLICK which indicates that seat is locked into the SmartHub.
◦ Always check that the Orbit Baby seat is securely locked into the SmartHub by tugging
upwards and turning.
◦ Never let your child climb into or out of a seat unassisted.
◦ When using with the Stroller Seat, the most upright position is only for children who have
developed enough upper body control to sit up without tipping forward.
AVOID PINCH INJURY
◦When docking or adjusting your seats, keep hands and fingers, especially those of children,
clear of moving parts and the SmartHub.

Getting Started

 Assembling Your Rocker Base

⃞ Start with one of the metal rocker tube pieces and insert both tube ends into the SmartHub of the
rocker tube as shown.
⃞ Press the rocker tube into the SmartHub until the silver buttons on both sides have snapped into
the plastic holes. Repeat this step with the other rocker tube.
⃞ CHECK the security of the assembly by pulling outward on the rocker tube. Place the rocker
base on the ground and apply weight. The rocker tubes will flex, but not release from the
SmartHub.
Assembly of the Orbit Baby Rocker Base is now complete.

Securing Your Child

⚠ WARNING ⚠
FALL HAZARD: Avoid serious injury from falls or sliding out.
◦Always secure your child with the restraint harness if present whenever your child is in an Orbit
Baby seat.

Follow the instructions of the Orbit Baby seat that you are using with the Rocker Base.

Using Your Rocker Base

 Docking to Your Rocker Base

⃞ Align the SmartHub of the seat to the SmartHub of the rocker base. Make sure the area on both
products is clear of debris and any obstructions. Rotate the seat until it is locked in one of the four
locking positions on the rocker base.

⃞ After docking, CHECK the security of the Orbit Baby seat by tugging upwards and turning to make
sure the product is securely docked to the rocker base.

 Using the Anti-Rock Arms

⃞ To temporarily prevent the rocker base from rocking, use both anti-rock arms on at least one
rocker tube: Lift up on the anti-rock arm tab.
⃞ Rotate the anti-rock arm until it snaps into place.

Traveling & Storage

To remove the tubing for storage, press the silver buttons while sliding each Rocker Tube out from
the SmartHub.

Care & Maintenance

The plastic and metal parts of the rocker base can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive
cleansers or chemicals, including bleach, for cleaning. These cleansers can attack the materials and
affect the strength of the components. Orbit Baby's Cream Scrub is approved for use on all plastic
and metal parts of the rocker base.

Orbit Baby Limited Customer Warranty - USA only:

• What this Limited Warranty covers and for how long:

Orbit Baby, Inc. (“Orbit Baby”) warrants that the product accompanied by this limited warranty is free from
manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase.
This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the product and only to products purchased and used in
the United States of America. The limited warranty period referenced above also applies to any implied warranties
that may exist under applicable law. To the extent that your state does not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, the limitation referenced in the immediately preceding sentence may not apply to you.
• What this Limited Warranty does not cover:
This limited warranty does not apply to: (1) defects resulting from repair (except by Orbit Baby or its authorized service
representatives) or alteration of the product, (2) defects resulting from use with covers, inserts, accessories, tightening
devices, or other components not supplied by or expressly approved in writing by Orbit Baby, (3) defects resulting
from misuse, including any use not in accordance with the product instructions, abuse, accident, neglect, improper
maintenance or handling, or normal wear and tear, (4) defects resulting from handling by airlines or airport staff, and
(5) defects such as corrosion or molding resulting from improper storage, such as storage outdoors, storage in damp
environments, or storage with moisture or salt on the product.

• What Orbit Baby will do:

If you believe the product is defective please return it to Orbit Baby in the manner described below within the limited
warranty period. If Orbit Baby determines a defect is covered by this limited warranty, Orbit Baby will, at its option,
repair or replace the product or components of the product. This limited warranty extends to repaired and replacement
products and components only through the end of the original limited warranty period.
• Limitation of Remedies under Limited Warranty:
Your remedies under this limited warranty are limited to repair or replacement of the product or components of the
product. In no event will Orbit Baby or any of its retailers, dealers, distributors or resellers be liable for incidental, indirect
or consequential damages relating to the product (including any repaired or replacement product or component) or
its use. To the extent that your state does not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, the
limitation referenced in the immediately preceding sentence may not apply to you.
• How State law applies:

Orbit Baby Limited Customer Warranty - Canada only

• What this limited warranty covers and for how long:
Orbit Baby, Inc.’s authorized distributor, ALCA Distribution (“Distributor”), warrants that the product accompanied by
this limited warranty is free from manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from
the date of original purchase (“Warranty Period”). This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the product,
to products purchased and used in Canada, and is provided solely by Distributor. Orbit Baby is not responsible for
the warranty. Distributor expressly excludes any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness of the products for any
particular use contemplated by you. The limited warranty period also applies to any implied warranties that may exist
under applicable law.
To the extent that your province does not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, the limitation
referenced in the immediately preceding sentence may not apply to you.
• What this limited warranty does not cover:
This limited warranty does not apply to: (1) defects resulting from repair (except by Distributor) or alteration of the
product, (2) defects resulting from use with covers, inserts, third-party accessories, tightening devices, or other
components not supplied by or expressly approved in writing by Distributor, and (3) defects resulting from misuse,
including any use not in accordance with the product instructions, abuse, accident, airline travel, neglect, improper
maintenance or handling (except by Distributor), or normal wear and tear.
• What Orbit Baby will do:
If you believe the product is defective please return it to ALCA Distribution or an Authorized Canadian Repair Center*
in the manner described below within the limited warranty period. If ALCA Distribution determines a defect is covered
by this limited warranty, ALCA Distribution will, at its option, repair or replace the product or components of the
product. The purchaser will be responsible for all costs associated with packaging and shipping the product to
ALCA Distribution. ALCA Distribution will bear the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced product to the purchaser.
Alternatively, the purchaser may deliver the product to an Authorized Canadian Repair Center. The Purchaser will then
be responsible to retrieve the repaired or replacement product at the selected Authorized Canadian Repair Center. This
limited warranty extends to repaired and replacement products and components only through the end of the original
limited warranty period.
• Limitation of Remedies under Limited Warranty:
Your remedies under this limited warranty are limited to repair or replacement of the product or components of the
product. In no event will Orbit Baby, Distributor or any of its authorized retailers, dealers, distributors or resellers be

glissement.
◦ Lorsqu'un produit est doté d'un harnais de retenue, ce harnais doit toujours être utilisé,
quelles que soient les conditions d'utilisation. Attachez toujours vos enfants afin d'éviter
des blessures causées par une chute ou un glissement hors de la poussette. Utilisez
toujours à la fois les sangles de jambes et d'épaules du harnais.
◦ La base berçante peut basculer. Un mouvement du bébé peut faire glisser ou déplacer
la base berçante. Ce produit doit être utiliser uniquement sur le sol. Ne placez jamais
la base berçante sur une surface élevée. Demeurez toujours à portée de main de votre
enfant lorsqu'il est sur la base berçante.
◦ Lorsque le siège se verrouille dans le connecteur SmartHub, vous devriez entendre un
clic.
◦ Vérifiez toujours que le siège Orbit Baby est solidement verrouillé dans le connecteur
SmartHub en essayant de le tirer vers le haut puis de le tourner (il ne doit pas bouger).
◦ Ne laissez jamais votre enfant monter sur le siège ou en descendre sans surveillance.
◦ Lorsque ce produit est utilisé avec le siège de poussette, la position la plus redressée

Première utilisation

 Assemblage de la base berçante

⃞ Saisissez un des tubes métalliques et insérez-en les deux extrémités dans le connecteur
SmartHub conformément à l'illustration.
⃞ Enfoncez les extrémités du tube dans le connecteur SmartHub jusqu'à ce que les boutons
argentés soient passés dans les trous en plastique des deux côtés. Répétez avec l'autre tube de
base berçante.
⃞ VÉRIFIEZ la solidité de l'assemblage en tirant sur chaque tube. Placez la base berçante sur le sol
et appliquez-y un peu de poids. Les tubes de la base berçante devraient plier sans se détacher
du connecteur SmartHub.
L'assemblage de la base berçante Orbit Baby est maintenant terminé.

Fixation de votre enfant

◦Chaque fois que vous installez votre bébé dans un siège Orbit Baby, attachez-le avec le harnais de
sécurité si le siège en est muni.

Utilisation de la base berçante

 Arrimage du siège sur la base berçante

⃞ Alignez le connecteur SmartHub du siège avec le connecteur SmartHub de la base berçante.
Assurez-vous que la surface d'accouplement des deux produits est propre et sans aucun débris.
Faites tourner le siège jusqu'à ce qu'il se bloque sur l'une des quatre positions d'utilisation de la
base berçante.

⃞ Après l'arrimage, VÉRIFIEZ la sécurité du siège Orbit Baby en essayant de le tirer vers le haut et de
le tourner pour vous assurer qu'il est solidement arrimé à la base berçante.

 Utilisation des bras anti-balancement

⃞ Si vous désirez temporairement empêcher la base de se balancer, utilisez les deux bras anti-
balancement sur au moins un des deux tubes : Relevez la patte du bras anti-balancement.
⃞ Faites pivoter le bras anti-balancement jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche à sa place.

Voyages et rangement

Pour enlever les tubes avant de ranger la base, appuyez sur les boutons argentés tout en tirant
chaque tube hors du connecteur SmartHub.

Entretien

Les pièces métalliques et en plastique de la base berçante peuvent être nettoyées avec un chiffon
humide. N'utilisez pas de nettoyant abrasif, de javel ou de produit chimique. Ces produits peuvent
attaquer les matériaux et dégrader la solidité des composants.

exempt de défauts tant au niveau des matériaux que de l’exécution. Cette garantie ne s’applique qu’à l’acheteur
d’origine de ce produit, qu’aux produits achetés et utilisés au Canada et n’est offerte que par le Distributeur. Orbit
Baby n’est pas responsable de la garantie. Le Distributeur exclue formellement toute garantie implicite de valeur
commerciale ou aptitude des produits pour vos utilisations non-conformes. La période de garantie limitée s’applique
aussi à toute garantie implicite pouvant exister sous des lois applicables. Puisque certaines provinces interdisent de
limiter la durée des garanties implicites, il est possible que la restriction précédente ne s’applique pas à vous.

couvert par cette garantie limitée, ALCA Distribution prendra la décision de réparer ou de remplacer le produit ou
certaines pièces détachées du produit . L’acheteur sera responsable de tous les coûts relatifs à l’emballage et à
l’expédition du produit à ALCA Distribution. ALCA Distribution paiera les frais d’expédition du produit réparé ou
remplacé à l’acheteur. Une autre alternative est que l’acheteur porte le produit à un centre autorisé de réparation
canadien. Dans ce cas l’acheteur est responsable de récupérer le produit réparé ou remplacé à ce centre autorisé
de réparation canadien. Cette garantie limitée ne s’applique qu’aux produits réparés ou remplacés durant la période

Vos dédommagements sous cette garantie limitée se limitent à la réparation ou au remplacement du

Los geht‘

 Montage Ihres Schaukelständers

⃞ Starten Sie mit einem der Schaukelröhrenteile aus Metall und fügen Sie beide Röhrenenden in
den SmartHub der Schaukelröhre, siehe Abbildung.
⃞ Drücken Sie die Schaukelröhre in den SmartHub, bis die Silberknöpfe auf beiden Seiten in die
Kunststofflöcher eingerastet sind. Wiederholen Sie diesen Schritt mit der anderen Schaukelröhre.
⃞ ÜBERPRÜFEN Sie die Sicherheit der Montage, indem Sie die die Schaukelröhre nach außen
ziehen. Platzieren Sie den Schaukelständer auf dem Boden und beschweren Sie ihn. Die
Schaukelröhren lassen sich biegen, aber nicht vom SmartHub lösen.

Benutzung Ihres Schaukelständers

 Andocken an Ihren Schaukelständer

⃞ Passen Sie den SmartHub des Sitzes an den SmartHub des Schaukelständers an. Stellen
Sie sicher, dass der Bereich um beide Produkte frei von Verschmutzungen und Hindernissen
ist. Drehen Sie den Sitz, bis er in eine der vier Verriegelungspositionen des Schaukelständers
eingerastet ist.

⃞ ÜBERPRÜFEN Sie nach dem Andocken die Sicherheit des Orbit Baby-Sitzes durch Ziehen nach
oben und Drehen, um sicherzustellen, dass der Sitz sicher am Schaukelständer angedockt ist.

 Benutzung der Schaukelstopper

⃞Damit der Schaukelständer zeitweilig nicht schaukeln kann, verwenden Sie beide Schaukelstopper
für mindestens eine der Schaukelröhren: Heben Sie die Lasche des Schaukelstoppers an.
⃞ Drehen Sie den Schaukelstopper, bis er einrastet.

Reisen und Lagerung

Pflege und Wartung

Die Kunststoff- und Metallteile des Schaukelständers können mit einem feuchten Lappen
gereinigt werden. Benutzen Sie für die Reinigung keine Scheuermittel oder Chemikalien, wie z. B.
Bleichmittel. Diese Reinigungsmittel können das Material angreifen und die Festigkeit der Einzelteile
beeinträchtigen. Orbit Baby's Cream Scrub ist für die Benutzung für alle Kunststoff- und Metallteile des
Schaukelständers zugelassen.

◦ La base del balancín puede volcar. Un movimiento del niño puede deslizar o mover la
base del balancín. Utilícela solo en el suelo. Nunca coloque la base del balancín en una
superficie elevada. Manténgala siempre al alcance de la mano cuando su hijo esté en
ella.
◦ Espere a escuchar un CLIC que indica que el asiento está bien encajado en el
SmartHub.
◦ Asegúrese siempre de que el Orbit Baby está encajado de forma segura en el
SmartHub tirando de él hacia arriba y girándolo.
◦ Nunca deje a su hijo subir al asiento o bajarse de él sin ayuda.
◦ Al utilizarlo con un asiento de cochecito, escoja la posición más recta solo para niños

Primeros pasos

 Montar la base del balancín

⃞ Comience con uno de los tubos de metal del balancín. Inserte las dos partes finales del tubo en
el SmartHub como puede ver en la imagen.
⃞ Presione el tubo del balancín en el SmartHub hasta que los botones de plata situados en ambos
lados estén encajados en los orificios de plástico. Repita este paso con el otro tubo del balancín.
⃞ COMPRUEBE la seguridad del montaje tirando hacia fuera del tubo del balancín. Coloque la
base del balancín en el suelo y apóyese en ella. Los tubos del balancín se flexionarán, pero no se
soltarán del SmartHub.
Ha terminado el montaje de la base del balancín de Orbit Baby.

Asegure a su hijo

Usar la base de la mecedora

 Enganchar a la base del balancín

⃞ Alinea el SmartHub del asiento al SmartHub de la base del balancín. Asegúrese que la superficie
de ambos productos esté libre de residuos o de cualquier obstrucción. Gire la silla hasta que esté
enganchada en una de las cuatro posiciones de la base del balancín.

⃞ Después de engancharlo, COMPRUEBE la seguridad del asiento de Orbit Baby tirando de él hacia
arriba y girándolo para asegurar que esté acoplado de forma segura a la base del balancín.

 Usar el freno del balancín

⃞ Para evitar que la base del balancín se mueve active ambos frenos en por lo menos uno de los
tubos del balancín: Levante la palanca del freno del balancín.
⃞ Gire el freno del balancín hasta que quede encajado en su posición.

Viajar y almacenaje

Para sacar los tubos para el almacenaje presione los botones de plata y deslice los tubos del
balancín hacia fuera del SmartHub.

Las piezas de plástico y metal de la base del balancín se limpian con un paño húmedo. No use
productos de limpieza abrasivos o químicos, incluido lejía. Esos productos de limpieza pueden dañar
el material y afectar la solidez de las piezas. El producto de limpieza Orbit Baby's Cream Scrub está
aprobado para su uso en todas las piezas de plástico y metal de la base del balancín.

Procedimento inicial

 Montando a base da sua cadeirinha

⃞ Comece com um dos pedaços de tubo de metal e insira ambas extremidades do tubo no
SmartHub do tubo da cadeirinha conforme mostrado.
⃞ Prima o tubo da cadeirinha no SmartHub até que os botões de prata de ambos os lados tenham
sido encaixados nos orifícios de plástico. Repita este passo com o outro tubo da cadeirinha.
⃞ VERIFIQUE a segurança da montagem puxando para fora no tubo da cadeirinha. Coloque a
base da cadeirinha no chão e aplique peso. Os tubos da cadeirinha se flexionarão mas não
sairão do SmartHub.

Segurando seu filho(a)

Usando a base da sua cadeirinha

 Engatando a base da sua cadeirinha

⃞ Alinhe o SmartHub do assento ao SmartHub da base da cadeirinha. Assegure-se de que a área
em ambos produtos esteja sem detritos e nenhuma obstrução. Gire o assento até que esteja
travado em uma das quatro posições de trava na base da cadeirinha.

⃞ Após engatar, VERIFIQUE a segurança do assento Orbit Baby puxando para cima e girando para
ter certeza que o produto esteja engatado com segurança à base da cadeirinha.

 Usando os braços anti-balanço

⃞ Para prevenir temporariamente a base da cadeirinha de balançar, use ambos braços anti-balanço
em pelo menos um tubo da cadeirinha: Levante na guia de braço anti-balanço.
⃞ Gire o braço anti-balanço até que fique aderente no lugar.

Viagem e armazenamento

A fim de remover a tubulação para armazenamento, prima os botões de prata enquanto desliza
cada tubo da cadeirinha do SmartHub.

Cuidado e manutenção

As partes de metal e de plástico da base da cadeirinha podem ser limpadas com pano húmido. Não
use limpadores abrasivos ou produtos químicos, inclusive alvejante, para limpeza. Estes limpadores
podem atacar os materiais e afectar a força dos componentes. O creme esfoliante da Orbit Baby é
aprovado para o uso em todas as partes de metal e plástico da base da cadeirinha.

(Bassinet)은 캐리콧(Carry cot)이라고도 합니다. 유모차 받침대 위의 배시넷은 프램(Pram)이라고도 합니다. 로커
베이스(Rocker Base)는 스탠드(stand)라고도 합니다.

낙상위험 : 떨어짐 또는 미끄러짐으로 인한 부상방지를 위해 아래 지침을 따라
사용하세요.
◦ 제품에 벨트가 있는 경우 모든 사용 모드에서 고정 벨트를 사용하십시오. 떨어짐 또는
미끄러짐으로 인한 심각한 부상을 방지하기 위해 항상 아이에게 벨트를 채워주십시오.
항상 벨트의 어깨와 무릎 부분을 모두 사용하십시오.
◦ 로커 베이스는 젖힐 수 있습니다. 아이가 움직여서 로커 베이스가 미끄러지거나
움직일 수 있습니다. 바닥에서만 사용하십시오. 로커 베이스를 높은 곳에 두지
마십시오. 아이가 로커 베이스 위에 있을 때는 항상 손이 닿는 곳에 계십시오.
◦ 시트가 스마트 허브에 정상적으로 잠길때 는 “딸깍“ 소리가 납니다
◦ 위로 잡아당기고 돌려서 오르빗 베이비 시트가 스마트 허브에 단단히 잠겼음을 항상
확인하십시오.
◦ 절대로 아이가 도움을 받지 않고 시트 안으로 올라가거나 밖으로 나오게 하지
마십시오.
◦ 유모차 시트(Stroller Seat)와 함께 사용할 경우, 앉을 때 앞으로 기울지 않고 상체를
제어할 수 있을 만큼 성장한 아이의 경우에만 최대로 세우는 위치를 사용하십시오.

끼임 부상 방지
◦시트를 결합하거나 조절할 때는 (특히 어린이의) 손이나 손가락을 움직이는 부품이나
스마트 허브에 넣지 않도록 하십시오.

시작하기

 로커 베이스 조립하기
⃞ 그림과 같이 금속 로커 튜브 중 하나를 먼저 로커 튜브의 스마트 허브에 끼우고 튜브의 양
끝을 끼우십시오.
⃞ 로커 튜브의 양쪽 면에 있는 은색 버튼이 플라스틱 구멍에 찰칵하고 들어갈 때까지 스마트
허브 안으로 밀어 넣습니다. 나머지 로커 튜브도 이 단계를 반복합니다.
⃞ 로커 튜브를 바깥으로 당겨 조립이 잘 되었는지 확인합니다. 로커 베이스를 지면에 놓고
무게를 가하십시오. 로커 튜브가 구부러지지만 스마트 허브에서 분리되지는 않습니다.

 로커 베이스에 결합하기
⃞ 시트의 스마트 허브를 로커 베이스의 스마트 허브에 맞춥니다. 두 제품의 해당 부위에 이물질이
없도록 하십시오. 로커 베이스의 잠금 위치 네 곳 중 하나에 시트가 고정될 때까지 돌립니다.

⃞ 결합 후 위로 잡아당기고 돌려서 오르빗 베이비 시트가 로커 베이스에 단단히 결합되었는지

확인하십시오.

 흔들림 방지 암 사용하기
⃞ 일시적으로 로커 베이스가 흔들리지 않도록 하려면 적어도 하나의 로커 튜브에서 흔들림 방지
암 두 개의 탭을 위로 올립니다.
⃞ 흔들림 방지 암이 제자리에 고정될 때까지 돌립니다.

이동 및 보관

보관을 위해 튜브를 분리하려면 스마트 허브에서 각 로커 튜브를 빼내면서 은색 버튼을

누릅니다.

관리 및 유지 보수

로커 베이스의 플라스틱 및 금속 부품은 물걸레로 닦을 수 있습니다. 세척을 위해 연마 세척제나

표백제 등의 화학 약품을 사용하지 마십시오. 이러한 세척제는 소재를 부식시켜 구성 요소의
강도에 영향을 줄 수 있습니다.
