Diverse?) • Full operation and basic services should be up in 12 hours as initial response to mfi • Respect families and victim privacy • Location: mostly in hotels (depends on the incident and safety concerns) • Aim for one and only! • For long-term use and immediate use • Size: a lot of break rooms with sufficient privacy • 8-10 family members for each victim and the staff • Allow room for expansion • Site amenities and others: • Security! • Good cell phone reception • Landline • TV/ cable tv (cautious use) • Office equipment • Bathrooms? • Prayer rooms? • Translators? • ADMINISTRATION - Responsible for ordering and purchasing supplies,
typing, filing, answering phones, arranging appointments, data entry, records management, translation, information technology functions. OPPORTUNITIES • CHILD CARE - Provide childcare support to survivors and bereaved in Families Assistance Center.
• DATA MANAGEMENT - Responsible for database development, create
and maintain hard copy files, transcribe as required, general clerical and admin duties as necessary. OPPORTUNITIES • INCIDENT MANAGEMENT CENTER STAFF - Responsible for staffing Kenyon or Client operations centers, coordinating and overseeing the actions of administrative, logistical and accounting operations between various field and office locations. Typically done in 12 hour shift operations.
• INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - Responsible for the provision of
information technology support to the incident site and crisis management center. OPPORTUNITIES • LOGISTICS - Responsible for ordering/securing supplies, international shipping, storage, distribution. May include transportation of team members and family members. OPPORTUNITIES • PERSONAL EFFECTS PROCESSING - Responsible for the coordination and recording of personal effects located on the deceased, or collected from the incident site.
• RECORDS MANAGEMENT - Responsible for the efficient and effective
receipt, organization, storage and retrieval of information and data. OPPORTUNITIES • SPECIAL ASSISTANCE - Provide practical support at survivors' and bereaved's homes, Families Assistance Center, hospitals. May include assisting in the collection of antemortem information and familial DNA references.
