Tell students we are going to be working with the English Literature in its next
two periods.
Tell them the class will include a competition (with a prize for winners), so they
have to participate to win points.

Step 7: Ask them to explain (briefly) what happened in this period (political and
social aspects). Do a review about Common-wealth Period, the context and its
literature.

Step 8: Ask them to explain (briefly) why the next period is called neoclassical.
Talk about the Neoclassical Period, the context and its division.

Step 9: Ask them what is the relationship of Charles I and the new king. Do a
review about The Restoration, the context and its literature.

Step 10: Do a review about The Augustan Age, the context and its literature.

Step 11: Do a review about The Age of Sensibility, the context and its literature.

Step 1: Give them a book to each group and show them which paragraph they are
going to work with

Step 2: Explain them they have 3 minutes to read it and discuss in the group about
what the author talks about.

-Run to their classmates and locate it according to its structure: prose, drama,
poetry.
