The two presented maps depict the transformation of the same island after being

constructed and accomplished by various tourist infrastructures. The first map

is before while the second one is after the construction for tourism.

In the first map, we can see a small vacant island with a beach in the west side.
The total length of the island is approximately 200 meters. There are only trees
on several parts and the rest of the island is still untouched. There is also no
special facility to provide the tourists.

Moving on to the second map, it is clear that the island has changed considerably
with the introduction of tourism. We can also notice that there are six new
features existed in the second map.

First, there are two groups of cottages constructed around the palm trees grown
in the island to serve as accommodation for the tourists.
Second, a pier is built in the south sea of the island so that people can enjoy boat-
sailing and for boats to strand in.
Third, vehicle tracks and footpaths are built to connect all the accommodations
on the island. Footpaths are made to access the accommodation area while the
vehicle tracks are made to drive through restaurants, reception and pier for
boating.
Fourth, a reception block has been built in the centre of the island that is
surrounded by the vehicle tracks.
Fifth, a restaurant has also been added on the island that is located just behind
the reception and they are linked by a vehicle track.
Last but not least, a swimming area is designed at least 50 metres from the west
cottages.
In conclusion, the island is more crowded and looks fascinating after being
reconstructed with several prominent changes. The previously plain island is
transformed to an attractive tourist destination without even cutting down the
existing palm trees. There is certainly a massive change over the island before
and after the construction of some tourist facilities. But most importantly, the
island has become accessible and visitors have new promising place to stay.
