and laplace, Universidad de Granada, 8.3 Polar form of complex numbers: 1.2.1.
De Moivre Formula and Complex Number Roots 2006
the following document will be possible to reach the
demonstration of the Moivre´s theory, which is one of the ways to
express the complex numbers and is described as follows
𝑍 𝑛 = (𝑟(𝑐𝑜𝑠𝜃 + 𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑛𝜃))𝑛
𝑍 = (𝑟 𝑛 (𝑐𝑜𝑠𝑛𝜃 + 𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑛𝜃))
𝑛

the ideal is to prove by mathematical induction that after expressing a

complex number in polar form, we can arrive at the solution of an
exponential equation of n + 1 in an easy way which is to elevate the module
n + 1 so later multiply n +1 in each of the terms of the polar equation

OBJECTIVES

2.1 GENERAL OBJECTIVE

2.2 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

2.2.1. Demonstrate the use of Moivre's theory

2.2.2. Explain the use and formulation of Moivre's theorem.
2.2.3. Prove using the equation of motion the use for the
calculation of an exponent to n

CONCLUSIONS

the equation of Moivre allows to apply the potentiation and the

extraction of roots to the operations of complex numbers,
allows us to connect complex numbers with trigonometry this is
extremely useful in all areas cinetificas and engineering
