Graph 1 : Components of Variation : This graph indicates the components of variation in the

measurement of the 10 parts by 3 operators and 3 trials for each operator. When we consider the gage
R&R variation , the variation due to study is more than the variation due to the actual part lengths.
More variation is due to part to part and percentage of study variance is around 25%.

Graph 2 : Values by Parts : This graph indicates the various measured values based on the part that we
want to analyze. This can be used to analyze the precision and accuracy of measurement

Graph 3 : R chart by operators : This Indicates that the measured values are within the range the Upper
and Lower Control limit and it also shows the amount of variation by an operator based on the part
number that he is measuring. None of the points are beyond the control limits hence the operator is
consistently measuring the parts.

Graph 4: Values by operator : It shows a box plot of the measured values and it can be used to find out
Outliers if any

Graph 5 : X bar chart : Many points are above or below the control limits which indicate part to part
variation are much greater than measuring devise variation
Graph 6: Lines are virtually identical so operators are measuring the parts identically and similarly.

Final Recommendation:

The p value in ANOVA table with interaction effect is 0.188, which is greater than 0.05. Hence there is no
significant variation and hence the interaction effect is not significant.

We accept the NULL hypothesis and hence the measurement system.
