1. PURPOSE

The Company operations must be conducted in an environmentally responsible manner. Company vision and
missions will at times require controls that exceed compliance with existing laws and regulations.

2. SCOPE

Field management will ensure that an environmental care Program is implemented consistent with good operating
practices and TSP Vision and Missions, specifically to improve the lives of people wherever we work".

3.1 The Program will include the following features:

 Prevention or minimization of emissions,


discharges and wastes to achieve environmental Vision and Mission
protection and sustainable development
Local Regulation

In developing countries, The Management has


specific responsibility to review international
standards and approaches as well as local
regulations to establish performance targets
consistent with Company Vision and Values.

The activities for determining the appropriate


performance targets include;

 Identify and evaluate activities and potential pollution


sources (e.g. air emissions, water discharges,
wastes, system failures, etc.) and their characteristics
(e.g., chemical composition, hazardous or non-
hazardous nature, etc.), pathways which they are or
can be introduced into the environment (e.g., ambient
air, water resources, landfills, etc.) and potential

applicable to the type of source or activity.

 Do laws and regulations exist?

 Are laws and regulations adequate to control sources


and pathways and adequately protect receptors?

 Is the level of environmental protection adequate to


meet company vision and values?

 Implement control measures, Programs and


Procedures (i.e., modify the source or pathway or
relocate the receptor).

 Review annually as part of the Risk Profile Evaluation.
