BLACKMAILER JARAK’S SEED SQUEEZER MACHINE

USING THE SCREW PRESS HELIX

WITH CAPACITY 25 kg/hour

Basically making of this Jarak’s Seed Squeezer Machine, at the backround

to mark sense BBM’s crisis and deficit that happening Indonesian so expected this
machine helps to increase production Biodiesel and then is develoved to the better
system and efficient. Where to increase biodiesel’s production that utilitize this
machine, expected effective of engineering, efficient in time, and economic, so this
machine gets good for which need it. Topics of discussion in this report include
the mechanism osJarak Seed Squeezer Machine, the calculation of wedge,
calculation shaft, and calculation of screw press asa well as how to manufacture
and maintenance this machine.
This squeezer machine at makes frommStainless’s material with shaft
Ø50,8 mm for the tube Ø60 mm and which a length of shaft 835 mm. The
capacity of the machine only 8 kg/hour with efficiency 32 %. The design of this
machine will then be submitted as final reports to meet part of requirements in
completing the Diploma III program. The purpose of this report is to develop
theoretical and practical knowledge in college, to train the students to be able to
design a machine that is efficient and economic in each itsrequerment.
