Location Recce

Please produce a location recce for EVERY location used
Lighting Information:
The lighting in this room is very minimal
meaning there is very little natural light
and the light in the room was orange
meaning I would have to bring my own
lights so the interview is bright enough.
Sound Information:
The room itself is small meaning it will
produce less echo so the sound recorded
won’t be as bad but I have the issue of the
road right outside the garage door which
means there will cars going past.

Solutions:
The solutions to this would be to bring my
own lights and position them so they will
make the subject brighter. There will be
some natural light which I will keep and
use reflectors to bounce my lights to make
them brighter.
Solutions:
I will be using 3 microphones to capture
the audio. One body mic on the
interviewee, one on myself and another in
the middle of the room picking up both
voices. I am using a lot as it will eliminate
the risk of losing audio and having crips
audio instead of the cameras mics.
Power Information:
My cameras will be using batteries which
will be pre charged and I will have back
ups incase any of them die. I wont be
needing actual mains power to power
anything but my lights and cameras will be
using power that have pre charged
batteries.
Hazards:
We are filming in a active used garage
meaning there will be items such as bikes,
ropes and other larger objects which can
be dangerous.
Solutions:
I will be bringing extra batteries in case
any die during filming and will be bringing
back up batteries for my lights as well as
they will be important throughout the
whole interview.
Solutions:
To avoid any hazards, before filming we
will check the area and move ant objects
that could cause hazards to us or our
equipment.
