Reporting Verbs Exercise

1) Fill in the gaps using these verbs: advise-beg-deny-hope-insist-invite—promise-


remind-refuse-suggest-threaten-warn.
USE ALL THE PATTERNS POSSIBLE.

Passive Voice
2. Change the active sentence to passive voice (and vice versa) if possible. Justify if they
are not.

Conditionals
3. Rephrase the following sentences into conditional sentences.

c. write the pattern.
d. turn the sentence into passive voice if possible. If not, explain.
1) The litter of puppies was calm yet noisy when I peered into the crate.
2) We took the local roads to the city for we knew the expressway would have traffic.
