Course Description:

This course deals with the nature and scope of Politics, State, Government and Philippine Constitution. It covers the establishment and classification of government and
discusses the characteristics of sovereignty, the rights and obligations of the State and the rights and obligations of its citizens. It further underscores and emphasizes the
significant provisions of the 1987 constitution as well as the composition and functions of the different branches of the Philippine Government. Finally, the salient features of the
Philippine Constitution are given importance.
