    EYE-02 Solar Powering


    INSTALLATION SCHEME
    For powering EYE-02 from solar panels we strongly recommend the following system of wiring:

    The reason for using an additional battery is a high probability of long


    periods with sunshine – nights, cloudy weather, etc. The internal battery
    would be markedly discharged during these periods. It leads to
    shortening the battery lifetime.

    RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION
    The recommended configuration is as follows, referring to the picture below:
    1. Solar panel 10W/13-22V
    2. SLA battery 12V/18Ah
    3. Portable power centre MEC-3000
    4. PWM regulator 12V -> 5V, 500mA
