To Whom it May Concern,

I’m very interested in the internship at Schilling Robotics. I am a Senior at Buckingham magnet
Charter school in Vacaville. When I was a sophomore and part of the Robotics team, we took a
tour of your impressive facilities. In the past few years have wanted to design and build robots for
a living. Taking the tour sparked my interest in pursuing my desire in working both in the
engineering and physical build of robots. I would be excited to be an intern with your
organization.

I have been involved was involved with First Lego League in eighth grade, this is where I began
to learn how to program and building the robot. My Freshmen I did VEX and First Robotic
Challenge. In VEX where I did more programming and building. When I was doing First Robotics
Challenge I was only building the robot. My sophomore and senior years I only focused on First
Robotics challenge.

During my sophomore build season I made recommendations on how to make the robot score
more points. I was not a decision maker and my ideas were not implemented. I did notices that
the high scoring teams had my ideas on thier robot.

I feel that I would be a good fit with your organization because I think outside the box then
finding how to get those ideas to fit the criteria. I agree with what you do and how you do it, but I
feel the only way for you to know who I really am is to meet me face to face.
