Job Description
• Promote strong safety culture to the project team and to ensure site safety and environmental control
ensures are in place at all times.

• Cost Monitoring and Forecasting using web-based tool, Forecaster v.2.0

• Close monitoring of additional work request before and during Turnaround

• Real time update of scope and additional work request

• Wok and collaborate with Finance focal point and contractor’s focal point for TA direct and indirect
expenditures

• Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal project management team as and when required

• Input billing of contractors for services incurred during and after turnaround in SAP

• Present in TA Steering Team for the updated on additional work request and financial status of the
event

• Provide weekly financial status and forecast to the TA team

• Work professionally with Shell Global personnel for the success of the turnaround with regards to cost
reporting and forecasting

• Assist Project Manager in budget making, over all progress monitoring, resource allocation, cost control
engineering and higher management reporting

• Evaluate and update project cost forecast (Estimate at Completion)

• Assist in establishing project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)

• Prepare cost reports and advise management of any forecast overruns, to maintain comprehensive
accessible registers of financial approvals, variations and change orders

• Monitor and control actual cost expenditures including reconciliation to the accounting system and
verifying cost allocation

• Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Manager and the whole project team to provide
assistance and technical support

• Monitor and report on project progress. Investigate and highlight potential issues to management in
timely method

Looking for an experienced Electrical Site Engineer in Qatar.

Job Details:

 Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to
the Asst. Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
 Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or
specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
 Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the electrical work groups
at site.
 Plans the execution of all electrical related works and coordinates the works to mechanical and
civil groups.
 Coordinates with Client / Consultant’s representatives for any site instructions and inspection of
works.
 Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all electrical
groups at site.

Job Requirements:
 MInimum 8 years experience is required.
 Good communication skills.
 Degree/Diploma Holder.
