Results and Discussion

In this experiment, Kinematics. We aimed to relate the motion by getting the velocity and also
acceleration, also getting the acceleration with considered gravity only experimentally. From the gathered data
we got, we can say that the height of the track got an effect to the acceleration of the cart. The height of the
track is directly proportional to the cart’s acceleration. We also can say that from the experiment, that the time
is related to the inclination of the track, due to the pull of the gravity, height of the track is very much considered,
higher track, faster time.

Conclusions

In conclusion, the motion that is along a straight line, we can say is that it is the simplest kind or type
of motion. Kinematics feature in a one dimension like velocity and the acceleration that all depends on time
which are all vectors, making them have both magnitude and direction.

Our experiment, kinematics, we could say that motion concept is interconnected with each other. For
example, the height of the track mattered when we are looking for the acceleration of the cart. As we saw
from the experiment, as the height of the track increases, the cart’s acceleration is also increases. It is
because of the gravity; the gravity is pulling the cart even quicker from the starting point of the track going
down to a flat surface going to a stop.

There are these factors we must consider which contributes in getting errors on the results of the
experiment. Even though these factors are minors, it could still affect the result or the outcome of the
experiment. The one doing the experiment must carefully read and understand the instruction given in the
textbook. They should also do some rechecks or their results to get a more accurate one.
