 Dubai is located along the Persian Gulf in the north east of the United Arab Emirates. The
About Dubai
emirate is known around the world as a business center and financial center. Due to the unique
geographical location it enjoys a strategic position which allows it to connect to all local Gulf
States, as well as to East Africa and South Asia. It has several man-made artificial collection of
islands which resemble to a palm tree.
Dubai also has the highest population stands at an estimation of 1.5 million. Dubai is made up
of a multicultural society.
Climate:
The line of the Tropic of Cancer passes through UAE making the weather in Dubai to be warm
and sunny. In the winter it has an average daytime temperature with the nights being relatively
cool. Rainfall in Dubai is occasional and does not last for a long period.
More than 320 migratory bird species pass through the emirate in spring and autumn. Dubai
is a vital transit point for world oil .Strong economy was built as it gained revenue from oil and
trading.
