As I represent the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, I would like to send the Filipino brand of

warm hospitality to all delegates of this year’s International Research Conference on Higher Education
2017 (IRCHE 2017).

It is also with great delight that I would like to express the University’s gratitude to all the partners of
PUP to have this event a reality. This is no matter how cumbersome it is to put all resources together.
Had it not been for the support of Dhyana Pura University, Academic International Consortium of
Indonesia, Asia Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators, the Indonesian Embassy to Manila, the
Philippine Embassy to Jakarta, the Department of Science and Technology, the Commission on Higher
Education of the Republic of the Philippines, and the Government of Indonesia, this conference would
not have been possible.

The noble objective of this conference is to enrich the academic discourses in this region of the world.
This may serve a place where we can incubate ideas before they would become grand; a venue where
innovations are celebrated before they would become of global utility; a ground where fertile
imaginations grow into concrete realities; and a place where scholars congregate to engage in robust
academic conversations.

Hopefully, you enjoy this event while you learn, forge relationships and build network. Also, we want
you to feel and experience the wonderful Indonesia!!!!
