ISSUES FOR CONSIDERATION OF BOG:

1. The state Government has taken 0.75 acres of land allotted to NIFT Hyderabad.
NIFT needs land for future expansion. Hence the state government may be
requested to provide 10 acres additional land to NIFT Hyderabad for construction of
academic blocks, quarters, hostels etc.
2. The state Government has to release balance amount of grant of Rs. State
government may be requested to release the balance grant amount.
3. The employees who have completed 12 years of service were not granted ACP. The
ACP may be released after approval and budget grant from head office. The
employees who have completed 10 years of service have to be given MACP after
budget grant and approval from head office.
4. The Group-C employees who are working in NIFT and have put up more than 10
years of service in the same rank may have to be promoted after creating promotion
channel to them.

FUTURE ROAD MAP:

NIFT Hyderabad has lot of scope for development. Computerization of all the systems and
procedures of administration are being taken up. Land is a constraint for development if additional
land is allotted future development works can be taken up. NIFT can take up projects with the
collaboration of government and non-government organizations. NIFT in collaboration with
foreign universities offer better courses to the students and can take up capacity building activities
for the faculty.
