The Traffic Management Office (TMO) this is our first assigned agency of this school
year 2018. As criminology students this is part of our field to conduct a training of different
agency related in our course. Practicum 142 is important for us because this is one of our
requirement as criminology student, we cannot be graduated if we cannot undergone this part of
training. This kind of service is not easy to perform without having a strong patient to the people
in the area of responsibility especially the vehicles drivers. They also have the authority to
apprehend motorist who will violate the traffic rules and regulation specially those laws under
the provision of the city ordinance. In Act the laws with the provisions of Republic Act No. 4136
known as Transportation and Traffic Code.

As one of the criminology student of Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) Bais
Campus I, we are required to undergone On-the-Job Training (OJT) as part of our course
requirements for the subject PRACTICUM 142 in the 2nd semester, school year 2017-2018. We
were entitled to serve our duty for eight (8) days in every agency with a maximum number of
48hrs in the five different agencies: Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail
Management and Penology (BJMP), Traffic Management Office (TMO), Civil Security Office
(CSO) and Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) Campuses I&II.

On the first day of our On the Job Training of the Traffic Management Office I arrived at
around 6:34 in the morning to properly render our Duty and also to properly signing my
attendance. After an hour at around 6: 50 in the morning we had a proper formation in order to
properly report our duty and as a signed of disciplined we had. At around 7:00 in the morning the
traffic personnel instructed us to be waiting until our head of office around. At exactly 8:00
o’clock in the morning PO2 Joevel C Mallosa is around at the group and instructed us that they
said to their personnel to arranged our name to know where is our respective area to manned and
observed what is being the flowing of vehicle. It would be a big deal that I was assigned at Juan
Luna Street Bais City. As an observer, we observe a lot of thing during my tour of duty. Anyway
my task is to assist the pedestrian and also to help the traffic personnel who manned the flowing
of vehicle in order to be safety. At around 10:55 in the morning we are preparing to go back the
office of traffic management to properly report about the dismissal of our duty today. At exactly
11:05 we are properly dismissed.

On our second day of On the Job Training I arrived at around 6:45 in the morning at the
office of Traffic Management. At the same time while waiting of our co-intern we have also
clean the area behind the office and afterwards we have a formation at exactly 7:00 o’clock in
the morning to properly report to the office of traffic management. At around 7:15 in the
morning we have our schedule and designation area of responsibility. Since PO2 Jeovel C
Mallosa is not around due to his important the reason of there is something to do us and there
personnel of the office Mr. Amon instructed into the group place we were go to our respective
area to observe and to post, access to the pedestrian and to observe the flowing of vehicle. At
around 10:50 in the morning we were go back to the office of TMO.to properly dismissed at 11
o’clock at the same day.

On the 3rd day of our OJT, I arrived at around 6:30 am. We cleaned the surrounding area
of the TMO. After that PO2 MALLOSA formed us and instructed one of my co-intern to get the
list of interns who assigned in different area. Afterwards, we immediately proceed to our
designated area were in front of the LTO office together with my co-interns. We avoid the
motorist from counter flowing the one way street.

On the 4th day of our OJT, I arrived at around 6:40 am. As usual we proceed to clean the
area of TMO. Afterwards, we immediately form ourselves for the proper signing of attendance.
PO2 MALLOSA read our designation list and instructed us to proceed to our designated area. As
usual we assigned at the front of the LTO. Our task is to prevent the motorist to counter flow the
one way street. As I’ve observed, the motorist would follow the sign.

On the 5th day of our OJT, we immediately proceed to clean the area of TMO because it
also our daily routine. Afterwards, PO2 MALLOSA gathered us. He told us that he would
change the designation area in order that all interns must experience to man the traffic at the
highway. Me and my co-interns proceed to our new designated area were in Tavera Street
National Highway headed by Mr. SatvinAbahon the traffic officer. I fell nervous and excited
because it is my first time to manage the flow of the traffic.

On the 6th day of our OJT, we immediately cleaned the surrounding of the TMO. After
that we immediately proceed to our designated area. We assigned at the Aguinaldo Street
National Highway together with my co-interns headed by Mr. Florante G. Bucles the traffic
officer. He allowed us to man the flow of the traffic. As I’ve observed, this street is not easy to
man because of many motorcycle Mr. Florante assist us to handle the traffic.

On the 7th day of our OJT, we wear our type B uniform. I arrived at around 6:30 am at the
Traffic Management Office (TMO). We immediately proceed to our designated area to clean the
area of the TMO. As usual, we returned to our designated area in the past day at the front of the
LTO. We prevent vehicles from entering the one way streets. Mr. Saturn Abajon is the traffic
officer in charge.

This is my task and responsibility to say thank you for those thing I’ve did and most of all
to the assigned officer of our area which is he cannot giving up to give some advice on how to
entertain someone especially during the tour of duty. It is not easy to man the traffic without
exact and flexible patient in the same time.
