The basic grip How to hold the drumstick
STAFF a group of horizontal lines with spaces in between, with each line and each space
signifying a specific pitch or (in the case of drumset staff) a specific instrument.
NOTES a musical sound a tone or tune. Every time you hit a drum, you’re playing a note.
rest
In music, when you’re not playing, you’re resting. Any note you don’t play is called rest.
