Subject: ADMISSION CONFIRMATION AND GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE

CLASSES SEMESTER AUTUMN 2017

Dear Student,

I am pleased to inform you that your admission in Associate Degree Program

has been confirmed. This program has been offering in blended E-Learning mode of

education comprising of 10 online classes and workshop classes.

Workshop classes will be conducted at main campus during the month of

March and April 2018 for which you will be informed later on in detail. However,

Online Classes will start from January 08, 2018 in which 70% attendance is

compulsory. You are required to note the following guidelines for attending online

classes.

i. Open any web browser (Preferably Firefox) and go to the official website of

Olive by entering http://olive.aiou.edu.pk/ into the address box, the

following page will open:

ii. Scroll down the page and click on Associate Degree Program Icon. The

following page will open which requires username and password.

iii. Enter your registration number as username and Roll No as password. Please

note that you must write username and password in lower case and without

spaces and dashes.

iv. After Login first time, you will be prompt to change your password as follow.

You are required to change your password and remember it.

v. Once you have changed your password, the following screen will appear

which will enable you to update your profile.

‫‪vii.‬‬ ‫‪After updating profile, you are required to click on Home > Dashboard on the‬‬
‫‪left hand side under navigations.‬‬

 ix. By clicking on any course, the following window will appear. There are two main
sections. First is general section and second is week wise division of the course.
