ACTIVITY

Collaborative activity: According to the content, each group presents to the

monitoring and evaluation environment a document with 4 paragraphs (100 to 200
words each), answering the following question:

Why is it important for managers in Colombia to understand the evaluation and

negotiation of intangible assets to eradicate poverty in developing countries?

Intellectual capital is recognized as the most important asset possessed by many

of the largest and most powerful companies in the world; for these companies,
intellectual capital is the key to their market dominance and continuous profitability.
In general terms, valuation is an amalgam of the economic concept of value and
the legal concept of property.

The presence of an asset is based on its ability to generate profits and the rate of
actualization applied to those benefits. When a company gives importance to
intangible assets, it is capable of including in its activities and projects of growth
the interrelated communities of the sector or sectors where they carry out their
economic activities.

In Colombia, the importance of public-private partnerships to improve the quality of

life of the population and generate sustainable models over time are projects that
have to do with extreme poverty; are the role of governments by establishing public
policies of promotion through state agencies, companies collaborating with their
viewpoint of innovation or supporting projects that have a social and / or
environmental purpose, agents of the third sector, especially the of NGOs, and
investment funds. For example, a packaging of dairy products is implemented in
collaboration with the public administration, with the help of the European Union, to
train those who are going to be cattlemen, through NGOs, creating social
entrepreneurship. These new breeders are generated through microcredit that
allows the company to sell its technology and this is producing local economies.
More companies are coming to our country to operate and the first thing they
analyze is the condition of the social, economic and environmental ecosystem, and
in a way if there is an environmental or social problem contribute to its solution.
Companies are not only to make money, because they are agents of civil society
and therefore have to be involved in the societies in which they act and that means
being also participants in the problems that are generated at the social level.

The importance is that poverty is a complex human reality is not the condition of an
established group of people, everyone is at risk of suffering poverty at some point
in their lives. Lack of income per se can not adequately measure or explain
poverty. Because it is multidimensional, poverty encompasses all of human life.
Factors such as geography, vulnerability, age limitations, disabilities and diseases,
condition the experience of poverty. Structural constraints such as social exclusion,
lack of access to resources and lack of the necessary conditions that allow the
person to participate in social, economic and political life, the characteristic
features of extreme poverty, the type of margin people in your own society
Conclusions

1. We can conclude the importance of the development of technological

innovations that promote strategies to eradicate poverty in countries such as
ours that is developing, understanding that such strategies allow to give
importance and value to each of them in such a way as to encourage the
creation of new.
2. It is necessary to be clear the importance of innovation today, to create new
and better resources and to obtain greater economic, social, technological,
prestige and other benefits. The innovation has had so much in the last
years that share this news of Amerciaeconomia, on a panel that was
realized in Latin America, is composed of the leaders of multinational
companies intensive in innovation, where multiple perspectives and
perspectives to manage the innovation and I + D In growing companies
