 Engaged in ongoing informal assessment after each lesson in order to track students’ understanding of
new content.
 Designed pre- and post-assessments for unit in order to collect data on students’ knowledge, growth, and
to assist in lesson planning.

Science Lab Springdale Elementary (Macon, GA) Spring 2017

 Constructed and implemented a five-day science unit using the 5 E’s Science Method that integrated
reading and writing to boost student engagement and provide differentiation.
 Developed pre- and post-assessments on both units in order to analyze students’ growth and achievement,
as well as struggling areas.
 Obtained certification in Project Wild and Aquatic Wild.

Math Lab Springdale Elementary (Macon, GA) Spring 2017

 Created and carried out a five-day math unit on 2D and 3D shapes using techniques to enhance
engagement and proficiency.
 Designed pre- and post-assessments for unit in order to collect data on students’ knowledge, growth, and
to assist in lesson planning
 Based on the analysis of the post-assessment, implemented a reengagement lesson with three struggling
learners after math unit to address problem areas and build knowledge
Social Studies Lab Springdale Elementary (Macon, GA) Spring 2017
(1st grade)
 Designed and implemented a five-day integrated social studies unit that combined music, writing, and
social studies content to increase learning.
 Organized and actively used pre- and post-assessments for unit to better understand the level my learners
were on. The assessments aided in lesson planning and documenting which students required further
practice of content.

Reading Lab T.G. Scott Elementary (Forsyth, GA) Fall 2016

 Demonstrated predicting skills using a think-aloud method and then directed the students to practice
predicting skills during a read-aloud.
 Encouraged students to predict, ask questions, and engage in a book using a read-aloud method.
 Created a Reading Diagnostic Kit to assist struggling students with the Five Pillars of Reading.
 Utilized Running Records and Fluency Probes to track students’ growth in reading skills.
