Thanks to the new MRR® system, standard on shooting rifles and optional
on hunting rifles, Sabatti barrels perform better with either monolithic or
conventional bullets.
Every test carried out testifies to the substantial improvement in ballistics
performance and accuracy of multi-radial barrels over barrels with traditional
rifling, with either traditional lead bullets in cal .308 and 6.5 mm (.264”) or
monolithic bullets. At standard pressure values, speed can be up to 10%
higher than with traditional rifling under certain operating conditions.

With Multi - Radial Barrels two different radiuses alternate
in order to positively grip the bullet geometrically without
submitting it to extreme stress.
Group concentration is substantially improved due to the
extremely tight manufacturing tolerances that can be kept
while manufacturing Multi-Radial barrels. As a matter of
fact the MRR® lends itself perfectly to our cold hammer
forging. The resulting rifling profile consistency is excellent
and the overall quality of our barrel is increased.

The specific rifling geometry of the forcing cone in Multi
Radial barrels makes it possible for the chamber neck and
freebore to guide the bullets into the rifling more precisely
and steadly than with the traditional rifling system – the
bullet matches the barrel axis in the best possible way
thus reducing the fliers.
Under similar circumstances – less copper deposits
inside Multi Radial barrels and, therefore, less cleaning is
required. Also, when needed, cleaning is much easier to
do than with traditional rifling.
Shooter can improve Multi-Radial barrel performance by
simply lapping the bores with abrasive paste pads with no
fear of ruining the rifling edges like with traditional rifling.

The Sabatti bolt action hunting rifles model Rover, Rover
DL, Rover EDL and Rover Left Hand are all provided
with double front-tenon bolts manufactured from solid
blocks of high resistance, case hardened alloy steel. The
receivers in pre-hardened alloy steel undergo additional
hardening after machining to assure maximum strength
where needed and yield best durability. The barrels in
special Chrome Molybdenum steel are all cold hammer-
forged which enables us to offer perfect internal finish
and optimum rifling geometry resulting in precision
shooting accuracy. The side safety acts on the sears
and simultaneously blocks the trigger for absolute safety
and reliability. The American-type sighting elements are
completely adjustable.

ROVER THUMBHOLE
This bolt action hunting rifle comes with a lightweight,
synthetic Thumbhole stock of specially formulated nylon
filled with glass for durability. The stock originally designed
for instinctive shooting has turned out to be ideal for
position shooting as well. The grip has been carefully
studied and designed to be as ergonomic as possible
so it feels natural yet steady and controlled. The contrast
between the anthracite-gray

COMPACT SCOUT
The Sabatti Compact Scout is a “General Purpose” bolt
action hunting rifle, fast and easy to handle. It comes
with a Thumbhole stock finished in green soft touch and
a 50-cm barrel with short rifling that stabilizes even the
heaviest bullets. The standard version features muzzle
break, thread cover and detachable 7-round magazine
(where legal). The barrel is provided with a Picatinny rail
to fit different accessories - including a long focus scope
- thus increasing g the flexibilityy of the g
gun. It g
goes without
saying that the rifle can come with traditional mounts
and sighting devices. The adjustable rear sight is moved
forward for faster acquisition of moving targets.
ROVER TRAQUEUR
Compact bolt action rifle ideal for hunting in the thick of

the woods. The synthetic stock features an orange blaze
in Mod. COMPACT SCOUT
finish. The sight and rear folding sight come with optic
fiber inserts for easier target acquisition in dimly lit areas.
The swing swivel at the muzzle - where it is less likely to

These bolt action rifles with semi heavy contour, high
precision barrels are offered with high grade wood in the
Custom versions and laminated wood in the Custom LW
ones. Adjustable stocks are available on request. These
rifles come standard with a three-lever “match-type”
trigger system.
This varmint-style bolt action rifle derived from the model
Rover Syn. lands itself to both competition and hunting. It
features synthetic stock, three-lever “match”-type trigger

TACTICAL DESERT
The Tactical Desert bolt-action rifle is specifically designed
for long distance shooting.
The barrel is cold hammer forged from a billet of chrome
molybdenum steel and available in 22 or 28 mm contours
for enhanced grouping. The table below lists barrels
that can be provided with the new Multi-Radial Rifling
System.
Actions and locking bolts are machined from solid blocks
of high resistance steel alloy first and then heat-treated for
maximum strength and durability.
The precision high resistance composite stock features a
desert camouflage finish and comes with a butt pad and
cheek piece system for complete adjustability.
LOP is also adjustable through a system of stock inserts.
Barrel, action and bolt feature the high resistance
Cerakote finishes in sand color for improved resistance
and durability. The three-lever match trigger comes
standard with this gun

STR
The new Sabatti Tactical bolt-action rifle, model “STR”
(Sabatti Tactical Rifle), is the latest addition to the already
comprehensive range of tactical rifles manufactured by
Sabatti. However, while its predecessor, the Tactical Syn.
model, was designed mainly for precision target shooting,
the STR has been created for tactical “field” applications
where superior accuracy is required.
The STR rifle comes with the Sabatti signature short action
and a 7-round magazine (5 rounds for the Italian market).
The barrel is 0.8’’diameter at the muzzle and comes with
5/8’’-24 threads to fit most accessories available on the
market today.
The rifle comes standard with a thread cup and
professional muzzle brake with radial holes designed for
precision target shooting. For true tactical applications, a
3-chamber compensator is available on request.
The Tactical modular stock butt and grip are machined
from two solid blocks of high resistance Ergal 55 light
alloy. The fully adjustable butt stock can be folded to a
smaller size for ease of transportation. Additionally, the
Model STR can be ordered with or without a butt stock as 3-lever match triggerand adjustable stock
it fits all “M4” type stocks sold on the market today thus
giving every shooter maximum freedom of choice.
The Sabatti barrel is fitted with a custom AR-style
Picatinny hand guard that matches the 20 MOA rail
on the action. Three additional rails on the hand guard
can accommodate any accessory a shooter may want.
While the action rail is in steel, the mating full-length top
Picatinny rail and the side rails are all machined from solid
billets of Ergal 55 alloy. Case in ABS standard with this model
A synthetic rod connects the barrel cover to the stock
body to facilitate free-standing shooting or for ease of
transportation with folded stock.

TLD
The TLD and TLD OPEN bolt-action rifles are specifically
designed for long distance shooting. They feature the
same proven technical and ballistics characteristics as the
Rover Tactical bolt-action rifle with the addition of special
customized features by BCM.
BCM, for instance, transform the tubes made in House
by Sabatti into true high performance barrels. They also
perfect the barrel to action fit and the barrel to bolt fit.
BCM fully inspect the 3-lever match trigger and enhance
it to its maximum potential.
The stock of the TLD looks exactly the same as the model
Tactical, but it is made in a more rigid material that improves
overall performance. The stock of the TLD OPEN is entirely
designed and made by BCM to meet the specific needs
of very competitive long distance shooters.
On request, actions and barrels of both models can come
with a blued or satin finish or a Cerakote finish in Crushed
Silver color. This ceramic finish reduces wear due to
abrasion and corrosion.
Both models come standard in ABS cases.
